I like the look of CMS (though he's not all that "big"!). But it's his first competitive international, so you never know. Good luck to him.
I think it's just a Jamie Mackie-style purple patch he's going through, as he's never really done anything in his career up 'til now. Very similar to the Mackie situation - a League One player getting into the Championship with a team that's doing really well and scoring a few at the start of the season, Mackie fell away and Mackail-Smith probably will too. Plus they're both not Scottish.
Why younger, Scottish, Ross McCormack who has scored more goals than Mackail-Smith isn't there is a mystery. He's no lone striker, but surely deserved the call up? O'Connor would have been a possibility, however as he actually has been caught taking naughty substances, it's probably best he doesn't play.
Levein's a joke really. Would like a loss tonight if it got him the sack.
Drunken Hobo u clearly dont have a clue. Have a look at Mackail-Smiths goalscoring record and u might change ur opinion its far superior to McCormacks or O'Connors! Good article OP. I said the exact same thing to my mates during the game tonight.
Quite right Greeny_Bhoy! CMS was outstanding for Posh (Peterborough United) and now Brighton. He's (English) Premiership class, and therefore the fillip Scotland need to start winning games!! Good luck against Spain on Tuesday. I hope Craig scores a hat-trick!!!
