Exactly and no we don’t. Shambles

Every single match from now until January needs to be treated like a cup final. I reckon Ange now understand the limitations of the squad.

No resting anyone. Best 11 to start every game.

And for crying out loud, sign a fecking striker.

Shalom Don. when you see Ange's comments about giving everyone a chance you can understand why he made the changes from his POV.

Obviously as fans, we have seen last night too many times and I even said on Sizz's warm up thread, if Sanchez plays we lose.

I think Ange is big enough to accept he fooked up last night though. As for Levy, to have the likes of Sanchez at the club stinking the place out is on him.

Sick of it mate.

Any idea how many changes Fulham made?

We have made 3 good signings since:
Ange
Vicario
Maddison

and VDV

I'm so conflicted in my own views with this. Was Ange showing Levy that we need better depth? My gut feel is that his simply rested players just to avoid injury for the weekend. It's inexcusable and I blame the manager for last night. But I still have faith in him. But we need a trophy so bad, it's laughable that we are such a loser club. That comes down to Levy but Ange needs to be putting out winning teams in all competitions. I guess he has to keep squad players fresh and happy too.

Fack knows not even sure what point I'm trying to make

Yea definitely we have a second rate mentality right from the top as you say.

They are happy for us to "compete" but don't really want to go that extra inch to win.

Extremely sad and baffling to me as success and trophies would surely add more to the price of the club when they want to sell and get you more fans and money coming in?

It's not like you were tonked by a lower division team ... you went out on penalties after a tight match away to a mid-table PL side whose manager is on his 4th PL side and also decided to make numerous changes.

It's still very early in the season, and you're under a new manager, and just after losing one of your best-ever strikers. Surely a degree of inconsistency is to be expected and accepted. ENIC, well that's a completely different kettle of fish. At this stage, no single result or season really changes much at all.

Yep, and yet some mugs think things will change, Levy has been mugging many of the fans off for 22 years, he won`t be changing for anybody, and why would he when the stadium is full and the balance sheet is healthy.

This club has a losers mentality, which comes from the very top, after 22 years the losers mentality has filtered down into a large section of the fan base, who appear content to accept mediocrity and are afraid of change.

Ange will be on a 7 figure bonus for finishing in the CL places, so why wouldn`t he prioritize the PL over the cups. The problem is the B team is not good enough, which falls at Levy`s door, not that Levy will be bothered about the domestic cups.

The way our club is run is just all wrong, we desperately need change and have done for years.

Levy out.

One notable striker going into the new season who registered one league goal last season. Dier and Sanchez a 1st team injury away from getting back into the team. I mean if you were to tell me we'd still have Dier and Sanchez here after the diabolical defensive record we had last season, and they would still feature in PL/Cup games I'd call it a disgrace from the club. And yet here we are and that's exactly what's happened.

It's complete and utter negligence from Baldy, but I'm sure he's ecstatic with the way the season is going - doing well in the league, out of the League Cup so we can focus more on top 4.

Thankfully Spurtle it looks like Dier is definitely off. He has been frozen out of every squad, but you are right because the equally shocking excuse of a defender Sanchez still stinking the place out and costing us games. I get any player can miss a penalty, but why is this guy always at the centre of everything we do bad in games? We have kept all clean sheets in the league when VDV and Romero have completed 90 mins together, yet the moment Sanchez introduced at Brentford we concede 2. What does this tell you? He shouldn’t be anywhere the club and neither should half those clowns on the pitch last night

Don are you female?

the lack of accountability for Ange picking a terrible team yesterday reminds me of something my mrs would write.

no sense of accountability whatsoever as it would upset your agenda.

Levy is a problem, but there was absolutely nothing stopping Ange from making 3 or 4 changes last night, rather than 9.

misread the room, and disrespected the standard of opposition

I remain a big Ange fan, but that needs to be a huge lesson to him. This aint Celtic v Partick Thistle

Why do you ask such a stupid question? I have already said the manager is to blame for doing 9 changes, but 100% the main issue comes from the top. You have openly admitted i have been right all along with my Levy stance by saying he’s a huge issue despite giving me untold stick, but you just haven’t got the balls to admit how wrong you have been. I have no agenda. I have just been correct all these years.

you havent been right all along because until the last few years, levy had us punching waaaaay above our weight. the problem is that now having established us on this level, he neither has the ambition nor the know-how to kick us on to the next level, which is why he is no longer a net positive for the club.

you had this silly agenda over a decade ago when we were consistently finishing above times with 5 times our financial muscle. now we are finishing below teams that we have 5 times the financial muscle of...

what big picture? you couldn't see any big picture. we were back on bbc 606 forums 15 years ago and you definately didnt have the vision that Levy had to have spurs at this size and level. he has surpassed any vision of the club that you had.

as I said before, the issue now is that he has proven himself inadequate in capitalising on the size of brand and revenues he has created, for whatever reason, and therefore is not the answer going forward. this has only become the case post pandemic, when the true revenue impact of the new stadium has been realised...

And won what Chronic? He’s won 1 league cup in 24 years. It’s an absolute disgrace. He’s the least successful chairman along with ENIC in the club’s existence so come back to me when he’s actually delivered success on the pitch. Unlike you Chronic, I couldn’t give a toss about bank balance because we have been in the CL a few times

And yes i saw the bigger picture. I recognised years ago when Levy did nothing and spent zilch that summer with Pochettino it would eventually set us back years. We are still coming out of that and still haven’t reached those levels since. I saw the bigger picture for years that Levy always does the bare minimum whilst you used to give me stick for it, yet i have always been right

you are making my point for me.... now with the revenues, it should be being backed up with signings that bring silverware,,, and its not....

not wanting to make excuses, but the emergence of chelsea and city with oil money out of nowhere, just as we were starting to really organically improve as a football team was really unfortunate timing and definately set us back.

the fact that its now so hard to win things due to the existence mainly of man city makes it all the more absurd that 9 changes were made, and to bring it all the way back round, makes it even more absurd that you have after that result directed anger at the chairman rather than manager.

if anything, levy's inadequacies leaving us with a poor squad should be even more reason for Ange to have made less changes... !

I hope so mate. Still unhappy he's here lurking about somewhere though. While he's not out of this club there is always the chance he can make an appearance somewhere.

As for Sanchez, the 2 games he features in we drop points/lose and he has a direct contribution in our misfortune. He loses possession up field and Brentford go on to score. Then against Fulham he plays poorly and misses a penalty. Everyone and their pets knew when he stepped up to take the pen, he wouldn't score. It's a joke we are in the position that he is having appearances in important games and influencing the outcomes of them.

Already this window has to be downgraded on the basis of not shifting dumb and dumber out of the door.
