The loaning of our “best” players was down to the previous regime. OK it was arrogant and smacks of players not really wanting to play for the shirt. They basically took us down. But they did want those players, rightly or wrongly and were prepared to pay up and take that very big risk.

My take in Sinistera is that he too had a clause which the current owners thought was written wrong or had expired. His side thought differently.

So he “knuckles down” when in reality he was putting himself in the shop window (plus he had a mole in Bournemouth in Adams). Then at the last minute he threatens the club with a, no doubt, costly and disruptive court case.

The current owners wanted to keep him. Maybe also sell him for big bucks - but he held all the cards by the looks of it, although it seems we pushed for Anthony before letting him go.

I’ll get behind the players we have left and think we have more than enough to get promoted this season. Just a shame we are playing catch-up because of two sheet bags who refused to put the shirt on.

Naive to say the least if you think this is all Down to the previous regime

Why is it that Marathe has been air brushed from the previous 5 years?

I have no worries about Sini leaving. He spends half the season on the bench and clearly does not have the fight for this division, or the belief in his team. He is one more of Victor's pretty boys, who have all of the tricks and none of the guts. With Farke, we are building a team fit for purpose. We have brought in some serous talent at this level. I am looking forward to seeing what they can do.

This helps put things in perspective - how many matches has Sini actually played for us? I’ve always thought there was something half hearted about him - even more so now we’re in the 2nd tier.

19 in the PL and 2 in the champ with 6 goals scored.

That’s the reason no one has offered money for him this summer, he’s quality but missed half the season through lots of different injuries.

Oh I get it, he was just taking minutes - well that's him totally absolved!

Who said it was ALL down to the previous regime?

I said the loaning of our best players was down to them.

Radz had overall control didn’t he? He’s the one who had the last say in matters. If he allowed Orta and Kinnear to sort the contracts then he’s ultimately responsible. We have no idea what influence the 49rs had or did not have in writing or agreeing to those loan deal contracts.

We probably will never know and for me it’s just time to move on and let Farke get in with his job now. Negative energy is not good energy.

Did he have last say when trying to sell Harrison to Leicester?
