When Bentancur comes back i'd expect him to be a starter alongside Biss....That's probably 2 months away still though.
Agree that the only genuine alternatives are Porro & Emerson. The rest of the back up is either not good enough to be truly challenging for a first team spot or barely good enough to be back up.
PEH, Davies, Perisic, Emerson GLC can all play a role and are decent squad options but we do need 2 or 3 upgrades elsewhere who can be real alternatives that strengthen the first XI.

Devonshire, yeh, I hadn`t factored in Bentancur because I was not sure he would be fit until the New Year, but will amend the article to include him. Obviously would be part of the set up.
It's a good thing we only have 1 game a week then!
Perhaps Ange wanted to get knocked out of the Carabou cup!

yep, the remit is we should fail in cups games, and finish 8th so we avoid over exerting our lack of quality in depth
This way we can carry on playing exciting football, once in a wee,
* week......ffs can't type when I have cold
Agree though I suspect 3-0 might be a tad optimistic Think we'll win but suspect it might be close. Never an easy game up there..... 2-1 Spurs

Why do you never actually post facts, but just made up stuff. Spurs have finished like 8th just once the past 14 seasons. So it is obviously not the remit.
I like you as a poster, but you always seem to post stuff which is actually not true a lot of the time.
If you had said the remit is to finish like top 5/6, with quite a few top four finishes past decade, then you may actually have posted something that is factually correct.
You posted the other night that Sanchez was at fault for both the goals Spurs conceeded, when the score was actually 1-1.

Diamond, That`s my usual score 2-0 or 3-0. But will be happy with any win.
Team pretty much picks itself at the moment. I'd drop Richarlison but there's nobody else. Son needs to wake up too, started off the season like the last one. 2-1 Spurs, but wont be easy. Burnley have become a bit of a bogey team of late.

The team picks itself because there’s nobody you could replace them with🤣
I love our back 4 and midfield 3. I pray for their continued good health when I wake up every morning.
I don’t rate our forward 3. I think Son is ineffective as a wide player and should be tried centrally or moves on. Richy for me isn’t a footballer. Kulu has been average at best for longer than he was good (he has so much potential).

Yep id be tempted to drop Kulu and give Solomon a go but would be harsh after his goal last week. Son keeps ghosting games tbh.
