Welcome Brennan

Great business for Forest, especially having brought in CHO

That’s amazing business for Forest - I mean he’s got lots of potential but equally is pretty far from being the finished product and sometimes very wasteful in front of goal. £30m player at the very most

Good deal for both sides I think.

He's played under Cooper before, I reckon he can get a tune out if Dazza

Out of him Dazza *

Sangare impressed against us the last 2 seasons in the CL play-offs.

Not their best player but probably their second best. Thought he would end up at someone like Liverpool or Spurs so great buy from Forest.

Yeah, for England u17s. He’s not shown much at senior level so it’s irrelevant that he managed him. Bloke couldn’t even make an impact in Germany, which shows how bad he’s become.

Knackered by injuries innie?

posted on 1/9/23

Yeah achilles injury. Can be a career killer for players that rely on pace.

Indeed. Can see him playing up top and from wide and he is rapid. And seeing as defensive midfielders cost north of £100m, £45m is reasonable for a 22 year old. Man Utd paid £72m for a 20 year old who has less than 20 senior club goals.

I think Anthony Gordon set the price for him really. Good deal if he keeps improving, not terrible if he doesn't do much. Homegrown

Yeah, good comparison that.

Shame to see Brennan leaving. Wish him all the best after the many happy memories he has provided.

However, looking at what this means in terms of the incoming players I do feel that we are exiting this window which a much better squad that has depth and should allow us to progress as a club.

Again wishing Brennan all the best for his future (except of course when we play Spurs).

Johnson and Cooper was a match made in heaven, came together at the perfect time and re-energised Forest taking us to a whole new level

As others said so many memories, 2 Derby goals, playoff semi final so many key goals last year

Wish him well

Is Johnson that good. I’ve been impressed whenever I’ve watched him but that’s only when Forest have been on TV.

Good singing for you will only improve more.Good deal for both clubs because it will help us bring in a few more players👍🏻

Very good window for Forest despite losing Brennan Johnson.
The squad is now stronger and deeper.

Someone on Twitter has listed the full list of in and outs and it really has been a remarkable effort, the quality and quantity really beyond expectations

It’s come a bit early for todays game, so expecting a tough watch but by the time we play Burnley things will be really interesting

And we’re still stuck with that parasite Arter, that apart, an incredible ‘window’, last year was quantity, this year we’ve added the quality, mainly thanks to Brennan, in some ways his legacy.
He’ll always be welcome back at the WFCG, and am sure will get a brilliant reception.
So long, thanks for the memories, and good luck, with Spurs and their basket case transfer policy, you may well need it.
