Utd should win the league with the amount they spent on transfer, but will they?
Ten Cheque book Hag
Exciting keeper? By that do you mean a keeper who looks prone to mistakes constantly?
Mount has never been a centre mid, playing him there is frankly bizarre from us.
Spurs wouldn't of loaned us reguilion if he was remotely any good.
It's been a poor window anyway you spin it.

Would you rather we kept De Gea?
For injury cover what was your choice of LB?
Yeah Mount is interesting I grant you that time will tell.... good window!
Yes
Someone who isn't completely useless would of been nice.
No it's not interesting, he's a poor player and everyone has said that for years. Bad window.

It is strange no one has gone for De Gea... great keeper but not for this modern era, it was time to move on. At left back there were not better options 7 mill for a loan is outrageous. Not sure City were for loaning us Cancello! I can't fully disagree about Mount, as I can't say how it will pan out, all I can say is that in the manager I trust and that is his signing, will judge after a year.

You’re on the wum, but sadly it isn’t exactly untrue. We’ve spent a fortune in the last 10 years and got fack all for it.
It is true we have spent just over a Declan Rice more than Spurs in the last 2 seasons.... Ed wasted a lot of Money for us!

Partly on the wum
but truely how much more do you guys need to spend to just make the CL cut off...You guys should be challenging for the title imo
Average window really
Still need rid of Donny, Bailly, Maguire
Only real upgrade is at keeper if we're being honest
Hojlund is potentially a great signing but he is still just potential
Not convinced on Amrabat yet... Mounts a good player but should never have been a priority and I don't think he'll ever work alongside Casemiro and Bruno
Hannibal and Mainoo would be better off loaned out, we're loaded with numbers in midfield.
VDB and Bailly need to go, there is no way Slabs should go with the injury to Varane. Any new signing is a risk, on that basis everyone has had an average window until we see if signing work... what would a good window have looked like to you?

The difference is that United win trophies. Spurs win...
Fanciest stadium?
If we hadn't spent £55 million on Mount, a player we had no need for and instead used the money on a CB, it would've been a good window.
We needed more deadwood shifting too.
On the plus side I am pleased with the signings of Onana, Amrabat and Hojlund to different extents as they actually address quite a few of our biggest weaknesses on paper. How well they'll do though we'll have to wait and see.

Using the Mount money for a centre back instead
Our midfield was far too open in big games last season, we needed another DM to play alongside or cover for Casemiro... Mount addressed none of that, he's a "homegrown" cover for Bruno in truth
Spend that money on a cb early in the window and Maguire was gone, he's clung on because we couldn't move to replace him
We needed another striker and rid of martial really too... But it's the same scenario
We're shiiite at getting rid of players
£89m for Pogba, wasn't it?

No club, in the history of football ever, has spent more money than Tottenham Hotspur trying to win the league again since they last won it.
A lot depends on Hoijlund. The rest are pretty average players if we’re honest, although hopefully more suited to what ETH wants from his players.
Most United transfer windows in recent years have looked completely incoherent, with no strategy and an element of panic. Whereas this year it has looked completely incoherent, with no strategy, an element of panic and Mason Mount.

Time will tell, but I’m sure we’re all bemused by spending £60m on Mount. A significant portion of our budget on a player we seemingly didn’t need.
