I question how good we actually are, thought some of our players would be just too good for the Championship. It’s all too tidy in the middle with Ampadu and Gray, reminds me of Anthony Joshua…afraid to have a real go and just playing it safe.

Like the analogy Steross, but at least Anthony Joshua delivers the goods occasionally. I'd compare us more to Joe Bugner (one for the oldies!). A modicum of talent but always sat back, rarely delivered a knockout blow, while he did enough to collect his paycheck.
Hard to disagree with any of this.
We were so narrow today, Summerville, Rutter and Piroe all taking up central positions. Everytime Summerville got the ball he had no space.
We should have moved him out wide, tried to stretch the defence.

we have done this for 18 months, its crazy.
Felt for ayling, was left totally exposed
International break comes at a good time for us.. only so long the excuse of “we need time to gel” will work. Truth is the championship is brutal - don’t really have time to p55 about.
6 points dropped at home already.

It was like a slower, possession based version of Marsch ball.
Not sure what Ayling was being expected to do in possession. It was just him on that right wing - maybe Spence will do a better job at it but just feels like asking a lot of a right back
2 weeks to sort out the right players to suit his system or change the system. 2 weeks to get players fit and gelling. Been a difficult start with injuries / dummies spat out and ins/out.
Next 2 weeks is massive and think we can start judging manager from then

Aussie Joe....
I've just listened to Farke post match and I must say its eroded my confidence in him a bit.
Don't understand why Piroe wasn't played as a 9 when he's already said he dissent see Rutter as a 9.
It's bad enough making a bad decision in signing wrong player or manager, but it's worse when you cant recognise it and change it.
He was also asked about number 10 and felt confident we have a range of players who can do that role.
We don't.
He;'s doing a great job of maintaining positivity and protecting the owners, but it wasn't working yesterday, changes were too late and he has little on bench to make a difference anyway.
Have to hope the new signings make a difference because this isn't promotion winning side at present.

Float like a bee, sting like a butterfly.
Joe Bugner … blimey, that takes me back
AJ's mum used to be my boss lovely lady, never met the great man but heard lots of tales about him as a young man, from him and the kids with whom I worked.
Think it 's entire;y normal given the amount of changes, including the head coach that the team is going through for the team to struggle to find an identity.
To expect the team to gel and adapt overnight to so many new members is niaive. It might take some time. Wednesday on the other hand didn't have such a huge overhaul.
Football teams work like any other team yet we expect them to gel immediately. Nine changes is significant.
Don't forget that of the team that started yesterday only 2 started the last premier league game and of the 20 man squad that turned out yesterday only 6 were at the Spurs game.
Tuckman would have a lot to say.
I think when Farke says that at Norwich it took a while its perfectly okay to expect similar here. Just look at the table last season to see how much can change, especially only five games in. Got the international break to work with the core of the team and be better for the next match.
The basics are there. The goals will come eventually.
Maybe a formality, but are we waiting for Gruev's international clearance. Probably wasn't match fit for Saturday but then I doubt whether Kamera was either. He was signed on Friday subject to international clearance.
Hypothetically, what would happen if this was refused?
You know what guys I am out of here, enjoy the rest of the season.
Come on Leeds!
