Sad really. And Real Madrid paid us £160 million for Hazard when they could have got him for free had they waited about 10 months.
Bellingham is a sensational player.

Is £160 million after all the add-ons he triggered, or the cost of the failed treatment for the Novichok poisoning Roman gave him as a parting gift?
Bellingham is becoming a true world superstar. Like seriously turning into one of the best players in the world.

Certainly a factor, but it was a mental issue too. He'd spoken about playing for Madrid ever since he was a teenager. Perhaps things going so wrong planted a seed of doubt that he'd never known before.
I don't actually begrudge Hazard anything. I'm actually very sorry things never worked out for him here.
Think Hazard was basically out of juice by the time he arrived at Madrid. He got kicked around the pitch his whole time at Chelsea.

Hazard pretty much had all the ability of Messi but not the same obsessive mentality and drive. Fortunately we got to see Hazard's best years at Chelsea because he was an absolute phenomenon at his best. Mind blowingly good player when he was on it.
I think people overstate his mentality. The guy achieved a lot and was absolutely incredible to watch, and will have worked very hard to achieve that. Gaining some weight on summer break and spending time with the family is about all you can beat Hazard with, and that sounds healthy to me, not symptomatic of a bad attitude.
He certainly didn't have a bad attitude. If anyone is saying that then they're wrong. He just didn't have that same obsessive drive that Messi and Ronaldo have otherwise we'd likely be talking and debating about them as a three instead of a two.
Hazard was sold for the money he went for because at the time he was one of the best players in the world in his position, an elite player.
Who knows why his game fell off a cliff at Real ?
Maybe the paella didn't agree with him?
He seemed like an emotive character.
But to say he was the biggest flop in history, as a footballer is with all due respect, mind numbingly dumb, but just look who's posting this drivel. No surprises there
Sad how things turned out for Hazard, was such a fun player to watch. Worst transfer in football ever.
Definitely the biggest waste of money transfer in football history his move to Real. At the same time we signed Hazard for only £30 million and got him at his peak for many years making him one of the best transfers in history.

His move to real was the topic and that must be the biggest flop in football history. No one said hazard is a flop. Moron.
