I posted on Twitter last night that I think Kyogo is the best since Larsson.
Statistically he appears better but we all know it isn't a comparison as Larsson is miles ahead. The strength of opposition and European exploits push Larsson ahead plus unless Kyogo goes on to smash it at top clubs like Man U or Barca then it isn't close.
However, we are fortunate have a player of Kyogo's quality. Big game player (like Larsson) and such a likeable guy
i'm glad its "since" larsson and not a question that they might be of equal calbire because they are not, despite what the numbers might say.
i've got eyes and i have watched both, but i think Kyogo is above edouard and dembele, hooper was a top striker for us as well though.

Exactly
a year ago I'd have had Dembele ahead but now in my life
Larsson
Kyogo
Dembele
Eduoard
Hooper
My top 5 strikers
Hartson, Sutton, JVH, Pierre, Cadete probably make the top 10 with Viduka, McDonald, Coyne and Creaney missing out
Larsspen was a decent player tbf.
Worth remembering that Larsson played with a much higher quality of player. Not sure he'd have done as well with Turnbull instead of Petrov.
hooijdonk would have to be up there as well to be fair.
larsson had some good players around him but both of them are blessed with that knack of finding a yard, can't teach that.
Cadete and Viduka stats were incredible. McClair not far behind.
you guys think Hooper was better than Sutton, Cadete, Viduka, Hartson, JVH, Van Hooijdonk etc??
Hooper was a good championship level striker I thought.
All the others above there were defo a level above him, I thought anyway?

Personally yes for the level he scored at
That's not to say the others were rubbish, far from it but Cadete played one season, Viduka about 2. Sutton was outstanding but hardly an out and out goalscorer same with Hartson.
JVH probably hard done by but for me Hooper was outstanding
I just remember him doing a job at championship level and SPFL. But flopping in the EPL and no other EPL team fancied him.
I thought all the others could or did cut it in the EPL.
state of laudrup in the premiership, only played like a handful of games.
he certainly found his level in scotland.

I think folk are judging them solely on their time at Celtic.

yes that makes sense. they are prob the best two strikers that have played for celtic since Larsson.
The vague assertion followed by 10 pages of debate as to the assumptions around that assertion normally bears the hallmarks of another poster
I think Edouard is the best technically since Henrik

I do agree with that. Outstanding player.
He is arguably our best since Larsson but I went for Kyogo as he gets me on the edge of my seat more than Eddie
