Yeah, not really sure why anyone would be. It was obviously something forced on the club last minute.

I don't really rate Reguillon (preferred Cucurella at the time) but he's better than nobody. Going till Novemeber with Dalot and Awb as our only recognised full backs wouldn't have been a good idea (and no, I'm not counting a completely unproven Fernandez)

If you want a look on the bright side view perhaps these stories are all coming out now as people who know they're going, because of a takeover, are just leaking left, right and centre.

352 has always been a fav formation of mine…
But that’s Rashy again upfront, I dunno man.

But what I do think is true, and Arsenal did surprise me, was that, they respected Onana, but that meant that sat back a bit, we had more of the ball, and couldn’t do anything with it.
So if teams aren’t pressing us, and our attack doesn’t have a vision to it, we gonna run into more problems.

So begs the question, would keeping DeGea have been the better way to go. DeGea was blamed for everything, well he’s gone now, and Onana is legit a baller, but now having a different effect.
And he’s shown so far, he’s not a better shot stopper than DeGea. But I’m not blaming him, he’s a great addition, now it’s for the outfield to figure it out, and fast.

It's a strange one with Onana and something I mentioned early on. Him playing means teams don't press as much so we don't have spaces to exploit.

I guess that's why we bought Mount to help with pressing high. Win the ball back high and that's where we can get chances. To an extent it's worked as well apart from the finish/final ball. If we get the balance right we can certainly expect to see us control more games.

As for his shot stopping then I don't think you can blame him for any goal we've conceded really. That Rice one was defelected so near to him. Had he kept it out we'd have been hailing a wonder save.

Rashford with Hojlund up front, for me, would split snd we'd see a midfield runner (more than likely Bruno) pop up there or even a full back pushing infield.

De Gea was still, most of the time, a very good shotstopper but these last few years he has been prone to poor errors too with shots any bog standard keeper should save. At crucial times too unfortunately.
