You gobbed of on something that didn't concern you. It was between me and Gaffer. Now you are running away. Typical of a fella that pokes his nose into everything, then runs away when confronted.

I am making a note of all these bets. So this season there is no misunderstandings, and they can all be settled at the right time. I don't want posters coming on saying bets were not honoured. I am a very honourable man.

Good luck getting him to honour it. I had one with him because he bet me that Emerson would be our starting RB instead of Porro for at least 10 out of the first 15 games. As it stands he’s already close to losing that bet but he’s completely ignored it. That was for a name change too.

I don't remember having that bet. You need to find the post if I did. And besides only four games have been played, and Emerson started in one. Would he surprised if Ange brings him back for the bigger games.

So how can you say I haven't honoured a bet after just four games, when it could go to the full 15 matches.

I think it is you that is clueless. The one thing the game against West Ham taught us is that they need defenders that can defend. Porro is useless at defending. Emerson is pretty good. Porro may get in playing in front of Emerson, but he certainly won't get in instead of him.

Emerson will 100 per cent be starting against Brentford.

I'm not taking any bet that Emerson won't be starting against Brentford because, despite the fact that I think he's woeful, I know how Levy operates in the market so until we get at least two reinforcements at centre half, there's definitely a possibility he gets a game. Long term though, he hasn't got a hope in hell.

I'll take the bet that he doesn't become a first team regular for a name change. How does that sound? Given you reckon he's a first pick, surely you'll back your man?

The name change part of the bet was not signed off. Are you always this thick? Even if the bet is there in black and white, the name change was not signed off by me. So whoever wins the bet, it means neither would no what the name change would be. So bet becomes null and void. Thems the rules.

To be fate to Gaffer, I was happy with just the one game as I expect Spurs to play Liverpool off the park. There luck against Spurs has to run out at some point.
