ETH should let this go and get him back in the team.

Well if Pellistri gets a start at least we might see some crosses into the box from the right for our new striker

This is completely the right decision, can’t be having a shiiit player accusing the manager of lying. His time is obviously up here, but if the idiot just kept his mouth shut he would’ve had a clear run on the right now Antony is out too. Whoever advised him is a clown.

Yeah I think his attitude is all wrong unfortunately. You’re completely right also in that he would have a clear run in the team. A determined professional would see that an opportunity to turn things around and given ETH no option other than to keep playing him.

Btw, Ten Hag obviously knows the situation with our right wing and could’ve picked the easy option and forgave him but he clearly favours discipline over short term results.

A lot moaned about player power being too much of a thing a few years ago so I support this from ETH here.

As has been mentioned before though doesn't this kind of thing also happen if a played has been found to have taken drugs? Not stating he has of course.

Sancho isn't really a loss at all tbh. If yesterday's Athletic article is anything to go by (it's usually pretty accurate) the guy sounds like a complete waster. It's time to give up hoping he'll ever start to produce consistently on the pitch - he hasn't got the minerals for it.

Antony is more important to the team, whatever people think of him. Hopefully that one gets resolved sooner rather than later.

It's a poisoned chalice that RW berth at United. Cursed I tell ya 🏴‍☠️

Aye, the players don’t even give a stuff about him either it seems and knew this was coming

You ever tried to get someone on cocaine to do that?

This has to be his last chance, if he can't come back from this and play to a level we expect then that's his career at United over unfortunately.

Not a huge fan of Pellistri but now is his chance to show what he can do, although we'll probably see Bruno moved out to the right instead.

What did the article say? Also, what are the details about him taking drugs?

Spill the beans please.

He wasn’t in any of the Argentina squads despite travelling so I wouldn’t be surprised

Stupid he was included in the Argentina squads, flew all the way there and back and not used.

160m on two right wingers. Roughly 550k a week in wages between them.

Neither available despite not being unwell or injured.

The one we developed ourselves also unavailable and out on loan for being a wrong un.

https://theathletic.com/4852693/2023/09/13/manchester-united-sancho-ten-hag/

In short (if you can't get around the paywall)

- He had these problems at Dortmund. Struggled to wake up on time for team meetings and training sessions, to the point where the assistant would have to personally come on knock on his door to get him up. He was even roomed up with Haaland in the hope that some professionalism would rub off on him. It didn't.

- United knew about all of this but decided to sign him for 70m anyway () because Ole thought the aura of United would change him or some bollox.

- His nose was pushed out of joint by the Ronaldo signing, as he was promised the number 7. The other players that season were also shocked by how lacklustre he was in training, and were unhappy that he kept making the squad anyway.

- He doesn't respond well to any constructive criticism

- From the article: "The issues at United date back to last season, when newly-appointed Ten Hag and his coaches tried to get Sancho to arrive on time by setting him a schedule at least one hour earlier than the rest of the squad. This tactic had some initial success, before Sancho fell into familiar patterns." Ridiculous.

Basically, the guy sounds like an unmanageable lost cause. I'm surprised we've persisted for this long tbh.
