I don't think we'll ever get back to exactly where we want to be whilst the Glazers are there. There's a dark cloud over the club with them there and it's causing uncertainty all the way from top to bottom.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Problem is the alternative is to basically sell out to an evil nation state (who can fack right off) unless Jim’s bid is accepted.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Jim will saddle us with more debt though

Qatar are considered evil because they are middle eastern, have questionable human Rights. Every nation at one point in their long history had questionable human rights. Because we are so perfect in the UK, because we love everyone we can do no wrong. Middle eastern investment is actually everywhere, they have their money in most companies.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
That said, they can still fack off. I’d almost rather be owned by hitler
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Really?

And Hitler did no wrong you fool !

😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was tongue in cheek, but that’s how little I want those Qatari ccckwombles near Utd.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I bet you won't be saying that with the debt cleared, greater stability and success.

Maybe even a new stadium.

😉
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No I won’t, because I won’t care anymore about Utd.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes it's fair argument to oppose middle easterners. They are the only ones who violate human rights or cause genocide or unwanted wars.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah ok🙄. I don’t want us to become a plaything for a nation state that are looking for a big sports washing project. There are plenty of clubs in Qatar they can invest in, don’t seem to be interested in that, wonder why.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sports washing is everywhere. It is not just the preserve of the middle east. Your pension fund has companies who have middle eastern investment. Most of the major real estate in the UK is owned by middle eastern compares. You just can't escape it.

Utd are self sufficient, no additional funding is needed we just need certainty and people who are shrewd, hard nosed business people who understand footy enough to surround themselves with the best in class.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If only we could get rid of the evil grasp of the Glazers... seems like these Middle Eastern countries are just planning ahead for the transition when their oil runs out. There needs to be a reason why people globally would want to go to the hot desert for reasons other than just oil. Maybe that's why they are ahead in sports washing?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The only way to drive change is by playing a part in the transition, not by keeping these states at arms length.

As Qatar improves in terms education, its people will call for liberal measures, it won't happen over night as shariah laws are the fabric of their society but change can take place none the less. More females these days have rights than ever before, there's plenty of more room for improvement but it's progress none the less.

Not too long ago women in the UK were not allowed to vote! This right did not happen over night, it transitioned over time. As society becomes more educated, it calls for equal rights.

Therefore, let's be less judgemental and consider Utd being a major source of change within the middle east, for the good!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We don't have to let them own football clubs and dope the fack out of the game in order for them to change. I don't think risking the ruination of football is a necessity for that goal to be achieved. Silly argument.

Ralf was originally meant to come in as some sort of sports directir but then his role became a bit muddled as certain people didn't want to let go of the power they have. It did at the time seem like United had a thought about what they wanted to do and then trashed it due to how badly Ralf did as a manager. But that wasn't the original reason why there were going to bring him in. If anything, the Glazers should have had him as a short term caretaker and hire someone sooner rather than wait til the end of the season as they did. Then Ralf should have moved into a DoF role like he had at previous clubs where he succeeded in the role. Instead, they kept him on as a manager, and he's never been a great one. It was like shooting yourself in the foot and then doing it again. There is too much short term vision at the club.

Money has already "ruined" football! Very silly to pretend otherwise. Greenwashing, sports washing, etc is common irrespective of whether it's orchestrated by a perceived malevolent state or by an organisation operating within a democracy.
