Yes, he's been sussed so he doesn't score anymore
He was always a bit of a tap in merchant at the far post, now he is too old and slow to get to the far post so has to make do with passing from further back.
His target will be 40 G/A and he has started well already in that quest. I do agree the days of putting defenders on their backside on a regular basis will be less frequent and it seems like he has noticed that so now rather than trying to beat his man every time he is looking to create and one thing Nunez, Jota and Diaz give him is very good movement.
He doesn't take corners or free kicks for us but still tops the assist charts which again is pretty special.
Klopp has him tracking back more to support trent. Hence less gls more assists
Still scores plenty and I think he's just getting better.

Honestly MoreSpun, can’t you just type one sentence on here without humiliating yourself?
The system change has meant him being wider, which obviously will mean he's not as often the man running onto the final pass but making it. Didn't work too well last season but so far so good.
He's assists have always been up there with the best.
He certainly has more creative responsibility with the system change, especially from wide areas, now that we're using Trent in the inverted role.
He's simply a world class player and a bona fide legend of the PL
