It's even lower based on this season.
Fatigue has a big part to play, diminishing of returns on other factors like age, fitness and injuries.
Dushane, goals scored and against during the period mentioned?
I'm not even worrying about such things anymore. I have made peace with the fact that we aren't a PL contender anymore. Unless the club is sold and they rip out the rotten structure and start again, we will forever be an also ran under these lot. So much is wrong at the club it's scary.
Tonight we played a Bayern team where nearly all our players would struggle to start for them so 4-3 wasn't as bad as I was expecting.
Our structure isn't dissimilar to Arsenal's, and they finished 2nd.
Get the players playing well, and the concerns over the structure, goes away.

We have loads of money. We need people who know what they are doing with it.
Go finger your sister you Scouse rat!
Probably a few reasons behind it, firstly the injuries to Martinez and Verane, people underestimate the importance of them both playing to our defence.
Secondly fitness, there wasn’t much rotation and players were fatigued.
Third, Rashfords form derailed and he had an injury too.
Look at how many games we played last season, we ran out of steam. The pre season tour I think they flew 14 thousand miles playing 8 games in 18 days or something like that.... not fit for purpose, terrible injuries and a bad start to the season. But, no, Conte wont be in the dugout for United.

We definitely tailed off and looked low on gas in the run-in last season. But I read someone mentioning that actually the results during that time didn't diverge from the pattern of the year as significantly as we might have thought. Basically, we continued to take points at home, especially from teams that were worse than us, and we continued to lose away games, especially against good sides. It could be that the fixture list slightly exaggerated how good we were in that post-World Cup period, and emphasised our weaknesses in the run-in.
We will get better over the course of a season. We have injuries to key personnel.
I am still optimistic about the future.
There is no way ETH is getting sacked soon. Or Conte becoming United manager.

United have loads of money. So much we dont seem to care that we usually pizz it up the wall.
Can't help but feel that the 7-0 at Anfield is the elephant in the room here...
Not for me Jalisco, for some reason I find it funny, now but not at the time.
I think it's because we had a much better season than they did.
We actually ended last season really well and were battering teams but missing chance after chance. Ten Hag has done a great job as a manager but refs and the players have let Ten Hag down rather than tactics. I think we average a goal just over every 17 shots with Ten Hag which is like one of the worst records for any top side in history. I think Arsenal and Man City average a goal every 8 or 9 shots and we massively outshot Arsenal and Man City in the league last season and all competitions. We should have scored like 60 goals more just converting like Arsenal last season in all competitions and then Ten Hag would look great. Everyone laughed how bad Nunez was last season but he would have been one of the most clinical players at our club.
I mean 60 goals more in the league and around 100 goals more in all competitions. Most annoying Man Utd side in history. Even yesterday Garnacho missed a good chance and Eriksen. Casemiro seems a world class finisher in our team and he rarely has any chances.
