Yeah the CL dropouts will make it harder for sure but you've got to be favourites

Depends on the players we use though.

Not as easy as made out IMO. There's teams there capable of beating us because our defence is still leaky, and that's without accounting for teams that drop from the CL.

The Ropey doesn't really get interesting until the QF stage, fail to get that far then you'll be a laughing stock of global proportions.

Nah, everybody will still be LAMU who currently aren't even good enough to drop into EL.

Most of the teams that used to be Europa stalwarts are in the CL these days as the quality has been diluted, look at Arsenals Europa level CL group. And that leaves the conference League as the absolute dregs of European football, literally teams of estate agents and delivery drivers yet west ham still have the temerity to call themselves champions of Europe

It all depends. We could be in a title race and that could take priority.

Spurs couldn't win the Conference when they were in it.

The quality hasn't been diluted. It just looks that way because of how far ahead of everyone Man City is.

Take away Man City and you'd be having a good debate about who could win the CL. and you'd be looking at these "europa standard" teams as dark horses.

We were ejected from it by UEFA as we couldn’t fulfill our final group fixture due to a covid outbreak, if we’d won that who knows what would’ve happened in the KO rounds. The fact is a team who were in a relegation fight in the Prem were still able to win that comp last season which gives you an idea of the standard.

So as I said, Spurs couldn't win it when they were in it. Spurs forfeited the match and were kicked out by UEFA.

Roma Brighton and Villarreal are the toughest sides.
-------

Looooong way to go, but Leverkusen have been looking much, much stronger than either Roma or Villarreal.

You could eject any club from a completion and say ‘they couldn’t win it’, the point is we didn’t go out on sporting merit. Stop being a disingenuous belllend.

Some fans having a really hard time coming to terms with the fact that West Ham have collected more silverware than Spurs over the past decade.
