Dean Smith is an average but dour and unimaginative manager.
Did his best for us,but overall an ordinary championship manager, think we need and have better than that.

Oh completely. Just making the point that he would have likely got us promoted. I’m not disrespecting Maresca by saying that because Smith would have done playing rubbish football and perhaps even via the play offs. Point I’m making is we are miles better than the rest of the league - and it shows
Marescas real test comes next season. He needs to be backed of course and if he isn’t and we come unstuck that certainly won’t be his fault
I’d like us to create more from open play if I’m being really harsh
FT. Good solid display and a hard won 3 points
Yes, should be scoring more goals with quality we have.
Nevermind we are top of the league, just so frustrating that there are few poor teams in premier this season and we should still be there.
Soooooo, another game and another win. We looked really solid today without troubling Bristol City as much as we should have done but we got over the line.
I guess the biggest talking point of the game is how Ndidi has gone from a shell of a player to the greatest box to box midfielder ever seen. What has Maresca done with him. He was off the scale incredible today.
Otherwise Mavididi had his usual game of looking incredible until he needs end product. Everyone else solid without being spectacular.
But a good win and a good 3 points. Onwards.
With Ndidi it’s a mix of rediscovering his form and the dreadful quality he’s playing against. Make no mistake - there is no way he’d be doing what he’s doing against teams in the PL. With the exception of Luton maybe.
I do get depressed with seeing how we are easily brushing aside opponents in this league, we should never have got relegated.
You’re not allowed to feel depressed mate cos it makes Foxello angry. 😂
But yes - clearly we shouldn’t be here: Probably the same for Leeds who are now starting to click. Both clubs along with Southampton are a great example of complacency and neglect.
