I think on balance a fair result. Arsenal got lucky with a deflected goal and a ridiculously generous penalty. But even so on balance I think they looked a little more dangerous in open play so I think a draw is about right.

Penalty was beyond blatant it's not a natural position to have your arm up like you are waving at someone, he moved it towards the ball as well and almost certainly stops a goal.

Either way, it was given, so it's a penalty.

Yeah I was going to say dark yellow

I would honestly and genuinely have no complaints if that penalty was given against us. I'd be annoyed at our defender for having his arm up like that in the 6 yard box.

What an odd claim to make. Redknapp and Ferdinand both spoke about the game before Son and Maddison were interviewed.

I listened to that. They both said they understood why the penalty was given. Suggest you get your ears checked.

Draw was fair but we certainly could’ve won it. We are playing some fantastic football under Ange - according to Merson they were gonna “slaughter us” unless we played 10 men behind the ball. As it happens, we are evidently well coached enough that our passing game ran rings around Arsenal for large periods of the match.

Bissouma is absolute quality, was amazing at Brighton and people have forgotten just how good he is because Conte the fraud didn’t use him all last season. Better than Rice and Caicedo easily. Maddison what a bloody signing, quality on the ball and works so hard off it - his endeavour got us both goals. In form Son is the most clinical player in the league. Mickey VDV going under the radar, what a player he looks.

Kudos to Arsenal - they are a good aide, it was a cracking game and between us the NLD never fails to live up to expectations, consistently the best derby in England by an absolute country mile.

I thought I heard them talking about the rule being ridiculous etc but if you're confident you're correct then fair enough.
As I say, pen got given so not much point arguing too much either way. I think it was incredibly soft but I expected the ref to give it. I'd have been screaming for a pen the other way around.

I’m happy with a point but that penalty that was awarded was a joke.

Spurs are Title Contenders this season so no excuses!!!!

We were incredibly brave with our passing game. Got caught out a few times without it costing us too much, but still persisted and sometimes our play in tight spaces was brilliant.

That's two ex Spurs players as well

Honestly if you think that's not a penalty there's no helping you.

The rules are fuct these days but yeah as it is, that's a penalty. If the same happened in the other end I'd be screaming for it
