Wolves have not been given an apology for the penalty against them on Saturday. The referee and VAR referee believe the correct decision was given.
The main rule is that handball is given where the arm is not in a natural position and the effect has been to make the body bigger.
However in the 23/24 guidance issued by the Premier League and PGMOL it says a mitigating factor is when there has been a clear change in trajectory when the ball has initially been legitimately played by the same player.
The ref and var ref have said that Gomes didn’t play the ball he just deflected it, so the fact his arm was outstretched makes it a penalty
Wot a load of bull

Right, so if we ever have a shot now and a player attempting to block has the ball deflect onto their arm whilst away from the body; we should now get a penalty. I won't hold my breath.

Have I woke up in 2017 this morning, all this talk of Mick & Ipswich? Christ I havent got to go through that divorce again have I?

for cinci

Gonna appeal this.

Could be upgraded to aon appeal?

Following a VAR review, the incident was clearly initiated by Weekend Offender, albeit after some provocation by Uncle Herbert, that doesnt excuse Cinci's intervention however, to both of you, shake hands, play on.
better ref than we normally see
And it’s not even the weekend yet!
Bentley
Jonny, S. Bueno, Toti
Doherty, Traore, Doyle, Bueno
Sarabia, Sasa, Hwang
rumoured team
Bentley captain apparently
Looks like Fabio is starting on Saturday
Not sure if it's 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, with Sasa up front.
Surprised he's not playing Fabio but I suppose Sarabia looked good against Blackpool. Probably found his level there.
Looks like 343 to me. We change everyone except Hwang!
Fairly clear Silva has no future with us to me
It sure who will play where out of Doherty and Jonny. One as the right sided centre back?
One saving grace is that Ipswich have made as many changes as we have
seems a fairly straight forward 3-4-3 to me but with GON you never know
Not sure how long Sasa will be given. Could be pre arranged that him and Fabio play half a game each
Decent start, Hwang's on fire
4 goals in 7 games for him now
Back to pressing high up the pitch again and it effective. No idea why we didn't do this on Saturday.
As wolfie stated, other than goals, what does Hwang offer?

Playing against better teams makes it harder? No disrespect to Ipswich but the teams you play in the EPL are a wee bit better?
