Completely agree with you regarding Awoniyi we really need another striker in to supplement him. It was no coincidence last season that our form dropped when he was out injured.

I think we will be OK in the stiking department. Origi, Wood, Elanga, and CHO all know where the goal is. It will be very difficult to bring in a proven goalscorer better than those four who would be prepared to sit on the bench,
Hopefully MGW will chip in a few. Also could Osapa Esong break through?

I think Wood might be off in January. If he doesn't score again (!), that's two in a calendar year.
Cashing out with six months left of his contract makes financial sense. As it does moving on Horvath, McKenna, Toffolo and Kouyate.
Whilst Wood's goals per minute are good, we really need someone to challenge for his spot. Something I don't see Origi or Wood ever doing.
It depends how much of the Johnson money we have left / want to spend:
*** CB - McKenna to leave, Felipe could be another one.
*** LWB - It depends on Tavares injury. Toffolo off.
*** DM - I can see us going back in for Dominguez, with just six months left on his contract. Kouyate to go, Santos will return to Chelsea if he's not playing.
WGR - Botafogo are seven points clear in the Brazilian top flight. Nascimento said he wanted to win the league before moving on. If we are playing wingers, then we only have two currently.
FWD - I would love to see us move for Guirassy. Stuttgart are currently 3rd though (!) and he has always stated he only wants to be first choice. This one might have to wait until the summer.
It all depends on where we are in January. If we are top ten then I think EM goes for it. Within FFP of course!

I’m not sure he gets in the side vs Brentford? We’ll likely play 4-3-3, so he’s competing against Belgium international Mangala and home-grown Yates.
Dominguez looks to be the captain we’ve been after for years, plus we just paid 25m+ for Sangare.
Santos will at least be getting XI a side games in training.
Anyway, it was ultimately your decision to loan him…and ours not to play him, if others perform better in training / suit the tactics for a particular game.
Maybe stop hoovering up all the talent and sending them out on loan? Santos wouldn’t be the first career that your club has done their best to ruin 👍🏼
Brentford seem to be struggling slightly to maintain the exploits of last season, not surprisingly with Toney missing.
Sunday will be all about putting down a marker by Forest and improving on recent games at the WFCG, we started ok against the Blunts, but were clinging on at the end, same really against Burnley.
We have good periods in the game, but then seem to get dominated, when this happens we seem to get punished by teams scoring against us.
We need to start with a high tempo against Brentford and maintain it, first goal will be crucial, but not necessarily the winner.
It will be interesting to see who SC picks for this game, as he has an abundance of talent to select from, especially in midfield.
Don’t see Tavares injury upsetting us too much, in fact i don’t think he was a particularly good signing in the first place.
It’s a game I’m looking forward too, especially after the somewhat controversial 2-2 last season, and the narrow defeat away 2-1.
I fancy us to pinch this one, 2-1 with Taiwo and MGW on the score sheet.
I think Cooper must have a good idea what his best team is by now,or more accurately what the best versions of his best team are. If that makes sense).
I hope he doesn’t make too many changes from last week today, although he might change the formation to a back four..

Managed to get it sorted just before KO.
On the first half, we're a bit slow. Murillo seemed a bit nervous at the start, but seemed to find his feet later in the half.
Domínguez is fantastic. He will be our Rodri in time. So composed, he seems to have so much time on the ball.

It’s similar to last season, shoot our selves in the foot defensively!
We don’t know how to play the smaller teams at home. We are better on the the counter attack. When we have alot of the ball we look a bit clueless and not very dangerous.
