Whilst it's funny the mess Chelsea are in, are Spurs in a position to laugh at them? Soon to be 16 years 🤷‍♂️

So you can laugh at Chelsea but a Spurs fan can't. 🤔 are you new to football

What's hard to understand? You're 16 years without a trophy? Chelsea aren't 👍

While I can understand some fans laughing at Chelsea's woes, I think it's fair to say that the whole of football would rather see City or Liverpool in such a position

Oh my bad. Send me a link to the rules. I've clearly missed something.

OP, I am with you.

After having spent £1.6bn, to have won only 5 games, is laughable, in fact beyond a joke.

I would demand to know what is happening if this was my club. How could a club spend more than the GDP of Montenegro and be still chiite!!

Well done, agent Poch

Yeah but with liverpool thats only bevause of fan rivalry, unless people really hate klopp that much.

This is quite easily where Chelsea would've been in the late 00s without their lottery win, so it's pretty cathartic in that sense.

It’s astonishing really, club with Chelsea’s recent history of success and also the mammoth amount of money that’s been invested into them not jus by Boehly but just in general over the last 2 decades. New owners are making a right dogs dinner of the club.

Personally I think Poch is a second tier coach, not elite level, and I also think he’s peaked as a coach 5 years ago at Spurs. We got him when he was younger, hungrier and the timing was perfect given the young (small) squad we had and the project at hand with the stadium move ahead. He put everything into that job, and he peaked and then eventually burnt out. He won’t reach the same heights again - and even then he fell short. This is good as a non Chelsea fan as it means Chelsea have got a faded version of Poch and I believe he will not do the business there, but they can’t just sack him after a couple of month and start over again so soon. There are cost implications, project implications but also no decent manager would want to go there.

The way the new ownership have brought in entirely their own people to run the club has shown - inexperienced people trying to take over the running of a big successful football club and they have absolutely dragged them down with their decision making. You need more than just money to make it work.

I think Poch is hungry.

It's just whether the players are, now they're on career lasting bumper contracts.

Mudryk has barely started his career but has a massive contract until he's 30.

They brought Lampard in too late last season to achieve relegation. But this season they have started out of the blocks and may not need him at all.

I saw a meme yesterday that if Chelsea don't score against Brighton, they can't award a goal of the month.

24 league goals in 29 games in 2023

They’ve only won 9 of their last 38 prem games. They have 39 points in that time.

They really could implode if they don't start picking up points soon.

Funny how there were a number of usual suspect Spurs fans on here in the summer exhorting the "out of the box" thinking to how Boehly has invested in the team

I've just looked at Chelsea's line up from the weekend.

How the fack have they spent over £1bn and put that team out?

Have they got a load of injuries?
