No.... The clubs focus needs to be on getting him fit/fully recovered. He then needs to find some match fitness in reserve/behind closed doors games. Then, he'll need to overtake PEH and Skipp as first option off the bench never mind replacing Sarr.. Madders & Biss are untouchable currently in a side that's playing well and fundamentally built around them.

We also have no idea if Bents can play in Ange's system. All we have seen from him is that he can play well in a defensive/ pragmatic approach under Conte.

Shame for him re the timing of his injury, hope he comes back strong but zero guarantees for us as fans with expectations or for him as a player and his future at Spurs

Bentancur, Bissouma and Maddison sounds too good to be true but what if it is? There's a temptation to bring Bents back but I wonder whether his game is too similar to Bissouma's. They're both ball carriers so if they're in the same team does that complicate things? Maybe the both need a tenacious athletic type to play alongside them to work effectively. It doesn't always work. Think Lampard / Gerrard for England. Both top drawer but they just couldn't gel.

No way does Benntacur just "walk in"
Sarr is playing very well and the current 11 are firing on all cylinders.
He will have to wait on the bench.

Take your ticket, young man and wait to be called out, hey Ted? 😆

Yes.....but having Bentancur on the bench is a nice problem to have, especially since we've lost Perisic for the season.

Oh and Bissouma and Sarr off to AFCON so hopefully he will be fit and ready when that happens. We certainly going to need him then.
