An odd one seeing as this has been a very good period of signings.
It happened 2 days after Munn came in so maybe a restructuring happening. We have moved to a more data based approach so may be this did not sit well with the chief scout.

Yeah I'm sure there are valid reasons behind this surely.
But this new approach to mirror the likes of Brighton which may or may not work for a club like us, let's see.
I just hope we don't end up with more signings like Joe Rodon.
I actually thought he would get DoF job

Correct me if I am wrong but Rodon signed after Levy hired Trevor Birch from Swansea as a director I think.
Birch only lasted 3 months before becoming the EFL chief.

I have always felt that players like Rodon should be viewed for what they were. relatively cheap, young talent that may of may not develop. Sadly for him he worked under coaches unwilling to try the untested and it didnt work out. Found his level at Leeds and if they come up I expect we'd get our money back on him (£10m).
Rodon is and was better than Dier. More athletic, likes to tackle and can head the ball. 3 aspects of Diers game that are lacking.
Rodon could have at least been 4/5th choice if he got a good start but we move on.
Dorrington and Phillips are showing they too good for U21s. I hope Ange is watching
