He's a great 4th/5th choice that could develop further. Still too early though.
So far so good. Hopefully gets more game time in the cups.
Looks very promising but still way too early. Looks quick enough cos I was worried he could be a Rhys Williams.
I'm glad Colwell signed that new Chelsea contract thats for sure.
“way too early?”
Not for me. He’s there now. That third goal - he made it - says he’s ready now.
In my view, VvD, great player though he is, has now got immediate competition for a slot. You never know, it might even improve his performances of late.
Its early but he looks promising, ofc at his age hes got stuff to work on. Felt his passing let him down last night, lost patience and toe poked it forward aimlessly or w.e. wasnt brave enough to pass it forward t accurately to feet like Konate was doing at times when endo or elliott/gakpo etc showed for it.
Big part of our cbs game over the years has been their ability to spray passes around, renember when we were forced into Phillips and Rhys this felt like the biggest thing we missed imo.
He is an odd one. My boss is a Bristol Rovers fan and said he was awful when on loan with them.
However for us he has taken everything in his stride.
I think the difference is the time he gets on the ball vs the chaos of the lower leagues.
Just goes to show that you can't write a player off based on a loan.
OP.. Yes, and I said this a month or so ago, was listening to klopp and he said, "Never seem such a group of talented players"
He was talking about Doak, Quansah and few others.
Literally every single academy player you go on about as if they are the next big thing. I swear on old 606 you used to big up Jay Spearing all the time
Jay "GOAT" Spearing, fkn ledge mate,u leave him well alone.

We are talking about 5th choice CB
Well, he has filled in so far this season when needed and we are winning games, that’s all you can ask.
I think he’s one of those players that needs to learn his trade with us and not be out on loan. I think he’s shown he’s already good enough to be a back up and he’s got time on his side to progress. We are in a no lose situation with Quansah.
I don't know what people pay attention to or research about our young players but Quansah has been one of the most consistent at under age and while people seem to get attracted to names like koumetio the local lads don't get half the credit.
this lad has many many attributes that will propel him into the snior game very well.
Its a compliment form agger above to say he needs to stay here and play as frankly those who go on loan are usually deemed not good enough to play by klopp.
He is that good he is going to play the europa and league cup campaigns and sit on our bench, yet people will wish for a 50-100mil cb buy to placate them.
