Totally different situation to John Bostock. Bostock had to drop way down the leagues early in his career and never really made it. Clarke is doing well at a decent level by the sound if it.

Another of levy’s must haves. Along with spence and rodon

Took words out my mouth Sandy. Championship is now his level, so I’m really not fussed. I think it proves how poor the championship is compared to the Prem where the current bottom 3 are last season’s promoted teams

Took words out my mouth Sandy. Championship is now his level, so I’m really not fussed. I think it proves how poor the championship is compared to the Prem where the current bottom 3 are last season’s promoted teams

He’s showing to be too good for the championship at just 22. If Sunderland don’t get promoted he’ll be snapped up by a PL side and he’ll have a decent career at this level. The likes of grealish were still in the championship at that age don’t forget

True, but just think looking at the championship judging players failing at Spurs and regretting it is a bit silly. The championship is a very poor standard. I personally think he’s one of those players too good for the championship, but would struggle in the Prem.

Taken him a while to find his feet in the Championship, hasn’t it? Not sure that means he was good enough to play for Spurs at the time.
