Played well recently, has a bad game and now is rubbish.

Leeds fans...never ones to undereact when an overreact will do...

Dont think he was that bad.

Now lets talk about Piroe, been absolutely appalling in every game, and his touch today 🤦🤦🤦

Just a poor team performance. Cant think of anyone who had a good game 🤷‍♂️

Outwood

Cant give them a goal first minute, killed us

James was summed up with 20 mins to go, recieved the ball with nobody within 10 yards of him with a free run at the full back, ran straight at him and then hit the side netting. Couldn't beat a drum despite having bags of supposed pace.

Thought the players who weren’t on it today were Piroe, Summerville, Rutter and The full backs, also Ampadu was nowhere near what he has been,
Big week with two games coming up at home I still think we are in the top two teams in the league

Yep, that 1st touch which should have been a goal was shocking.

Sorry, should have also added … do you still think we’ll only lose another 2 games during the rest of this season? (updating from your comment a week or so back).

Before today we were one of the inform teams, I'll admit, we were crap today, a team that last week worked wonders and today flopped like a frog with no legs!..

But give credit to Southampton, I think today they showed they're in a false position, maybe its their turn to show the form we've been showing the last few games!..

A shout for top 2 for us to most is a must, but in the real world there are a few teams that could shout the same, I think top 6 is a must and anything higher will if deserved come!..

Light - get back to me when we lose the 4th

Sure👍 - but I won’t - I was just genuinely interested if you still feel that now. I know some comments we all make can come back and bite us and was thinking ‘fair play to you’ at the time you made that prediction. Anyway, no worries and go well👍.

I think this next week will determine where we finish at the end of the season..... Anything less than 6 points I'm not expecting top 2 but play-offs will still be a good achievement considering the horrendous mess Radz and Co left us with at the start of this campaign.

Leicester, Sunderland, Ipswich, Southampton, Hull and Leeds for me will occupy the top 6 and that is discounting the likes of Preston, Norwich, WBA, Bristol C, Plymouth and Boro so it's an absolute slog of almighty proportions even at this stage to guarantee the play-offs.

Light - joking aside, I still think it’s a poor league and apart from the other two promoted teams no one comes near us squad wise, see Preston were two down at HT they will all find their level by Xmas and I will be disappointed if we are not top two, we have good players to come back from injury and I include our injured LB, Summerville was the big disappointment today for me if he was in the army he would have LMF stamped on his passport, lacks moral fibre, MOT

LMF👍😁

Rest of the results went as well as we could have hoped today so not a disaster today but we need to get our sh!t together on Wednesday. Performance today exposed how vulnerable we still are in defence. Still incredulous that Farke thought Cooper was a better option than Rodon.

posted on 30/9/23

Cooper has had 13 managers at Leeds and everyone of them has played him first choice? My memory is hazy he has been at the club that long but his games per season is high in all but one (2016/17)

Today I feel was one of those off days when nothing really goes right

1 - the first goal looked marginally offside. If championship football was deemed as important as Premier it would have been reviewed.

2 - several players not quite on it. Piroe was really poor, with a lack of involvement and a poor first touch. Summerville happy to take on 6 players but not happy to track back, James making wrong decisions, Ampadu quiet, Kamara ineffective, Byram paying for his first mistake defensively, Meslier making himself smaller not bigger.
3 - Soton scored 3 with an xg of 0.76. Clinical finishing or a mixture of poor defending/goalkeeping not preventing the chances.

The league table is not pretty just now but we have a long way to go. We have only just sorted out a team to take forwards.

We are down 1-4 on key refereeing decisions this season.
For Amapdu foul in build up to goal versus Ipswich
Against Offside v soton / 2 harsh yellows for Rodon, penalty not given for Willy v Wednesday, handball for West Brom goal.

Plenty of games left. Lets hope we can win the 2 homes games in the next week and the table should look a lot healthier.

I thought that too because he has to move Struijk from a position he’s been doing well at.

Cooper has been an excellent servant and a great player but hes 32 and times catching up with him. Rodon starts ahead of him for me. I dont think we should be playing two left footed cbs together.

Hope that was an off day for Byram. Been excellent but looked poor today. Think I'd rather see Ayling at RB as well overs Shacks.

Todays defensive line up equal or worse than one that helped relegate us last season. Kamara as yet not adding anything to the team. Shacks as an attacking threat today = 0. Rutter all at sea. Dan James in the prem or div3 doesn't matter = He's not a footballer. Overall huffed and puffed a bit but shaky defence and clueless going forward. Positives, todays line up looked a bit bang average, experiment over hopefully. Move on to QPR.

Dan has spirit, commitment, and pace to burn. Useful lad to have in the squad, there are circumstances where he's the ideal sub to bring on.
I think Coops's days are numbered now, sad to say. If Rodon had started things might have gone differently.

Hopefully we go back to Rodon and Struijk at the back on Weds. Give Shacks another chance with Byram at lb.

I’d also start Gray even though Kamara has done nothing wrong really.

Two massive home games whilst I’m away. 6 points minimum please!

posted on 1/10/23

I'm hoping we haven't got another manager who's blind to his favourites. We all love Coops but he's too old and now only worthy to bring on as a sub – like Luke, he's too slow and is only one step away from disaster.

anthony will start before him for good reason
