If I could I would go and seek Matip out, shake his hand look him in the eye and simply say, just unlucky mate...

It’s a bit of a drive from Derbyshire though isn’t it you fecking plastic. Honestly, you sound like you’re gonna have a little cry, just shut up.

Just shows to me we are a significantly better side than spurs tbh. They needed 2 men sent off and a wrongly disallowed goal to get the points. We’ll finish a long way ahead of them.

The result is the result and it’s not going to change so we move on. What the team can take into the next game is that it won’t feel like a loss, the result was an L but the performance was a W.

Having said that, how you performance in the next match after a loss is important and Brighton away is not going to be easy….particularly as they were thumped yesterday by Villa.

Yesterday’s loss should only have galvanised confidence vice a result were we had been convincingly outplayed and beaten comfortably; which we weren’t.

Spurs didn't win the game, PGMOL have admitted that; human error, although I call it corruption at the highest football level, won that game FOR Spurs.

Explain the corruption bit to me. You can easily see why Jones was sent off, he’s gone studs up into the middle of Bissoumas leg, some say it’s harsh because he grazed the ball in the process, but it was reckless and dangerous. Jotas first yellow was poor yes, but nobody made him then commit a blatant bookable offence 90 seconds later, that’s just stupidity from him.

So really it boils down to one decision which was of course a major fack up. A catastrophic embarrassment for the PGMOL and highlights a lack of quality in our reffing and VAR system. But why does it immediately in some fans heads become a vendetta against Liverpool. Who, specifically, is making illicit payments to buy decisions against you if it is corruption? And why? Explain that please.

Yep. They had absolutely no idea what to do when we were down to nine and you could see that they were $hitting themselves knowing that they really should be winning. They'll drop off at some point.

11 v 10 I still fancied us to win. It had Nunez written all over it. When it went to 9 it was impossible but the lads put in a great effort.

Let's hope football corruption doesn't dishearten us and instead makes us stronger.

Love rhe refs this season in particular...it's like they are saying we are the real Gods of Football, We decide right or wrong without any consequences...you just suck it up.... Dislike both teams but this time it does look Pool were well shafted.

Of course Liverpool are the better team. Still early for Spurs with a new manager. Spurs bench looked really light compared to Liverpool. Son and Madders played with injuries cannot imagine what would have happened if those 2 didnt play.

Explain the corruption?

1...Jotas first yellow....never ever ever a yellow
2....Salah booked for NOT fouling a spurs player when we would of had a goal scoring opportunity.
3...The obvious....onside goal being chalked of

This one IS the biggest corruption, why? Because there is a VAR guy, but ALSO an assistant VAR guy who checks for mistakes...I could see with the naked eye he was onside...WITH MY FKN EYES...you have to ask how can someone who's job it is, is to CHECK for mistakes miss that?? Even if you decide the VAR guy made an error...which in itself is ridiculous because it was so fkn obvious he was onside...there is another, the assistant VAR who checks...2 of then miss that? If argue unless corruption is involved its impossible to fk that up....BECAUSE IT WAS SO OBVIOUSLY ON SIDE.

That's the corruption....and btw, that officiating was the worst I have seen apart from all this yrs ago when cfc played Barca and were 100% robbed.

1...Jotas first yellow....never ever ever a yellow

He put the player off his stride by making contact from behind. Udogie might have made a meal of it but the intent by Jota was there. It was very cute.

2....Salah booked for NOT fouling a spurs player when we would of had a goal scoring opportunity.

Salah was booked for his protest at the foul he committed on Bissouma. Again very cute by your player. He used his arm to foul Bissouma, then tried to double down on it. The ref saw it and did the world and Salah should have accepted the decision like a man but instead he cried and got booked. Justice.

3...The obvious....onside goal being chalked of
Agreed.

You haven’t explained the corruption, you’ve just listed some things the officials got wrong. Liverpools goal came from a non foul by Udogie which he was also booked for.

I’m not asking you to tell me why you’re crying over the game. You’ve said it’s corruption - do you know what corruption means? Or is it just incompetence? If you’re saying it’s corruption then you’re saying it’s intentional so who is behind it, who is paying them and why? That’s what I’m asking you. If you can’t answer that, then stop crying corruption.

It’s amateur officiating for me

Yeah yesterday first time I felt thst I think the squad is ready for a title challenge. The bench looks very solid and even endo is starting to show promise.

Next game versus Brighton is massive for us. They have out number atm but look to be struggling with 3 games a week.

It happens to everyone. I remember at OT, Pedro Mendes had a goal disallowed, even though it was a yard over the line.

Refs in this country have been trash for years. Until they are replaced by foreigners, who have a better understanding of the game and who will be more professional.

If you had to build a house, the last people you would choose to do the job would be english people. They are more expensive and will take forever.

You would give the job to Polish or Bosnian or Sikh builders. The quality of work would be better and it would be a cheaper job.

The same applied to refs. It's basically an old boys club.

Spurs didn’t win the game

🤣

Delusional dude

Spurs 2 Liverpool 1. end of
Just like I predicted

If your team was that good it wouldn’t matter what else happened they would’ve won the game regardless

You ain’t that good and that may shock you!

Allison kept the score line decent otherwise it would have been 4-1 imo

2 outstanding saves they were goal bound and made two worldy saves

It seems Liverpool can’t win unless the officials are with you?

Spurs now held Farcenal away and beat Liverpool at home but yes according to mobs they call themselves experts Spurs won’t make too half!

By the way, just as a footnote i am in Palma in Spain and watched the game in a local restaurant and other than some Liverpool fans, the rest were non Spurs fans and enjoyed with me the win. Seems not many like Klopp and his moaners of team!

The two worst decisions weren’t even both against Liverpool

Udogie got booked for a good tackle that led to the goal you did actually score

Easy to be hard done by cause that ‘offside’ was just madness, clearly on and you were more dangerous team even with 9 men

Hard to see any argument against the two red cards though

Liverpool fans using the calamity offside call to make it seem every decision was outrageous, nothing went for them and claim corruption - which nobody can actually validate when challenged.

Jota second yellow correct. Jones straight red correct. Jota first yellow incorrect. Diaz offside incorrect. Udogie foul and booking that led to Liverpool goal incorrect.

Going down to 10 men was the right thing, going down to 9 a bit unfortunate but Jota was unprofessional having just been booked and let his team down with that second booking.

It’s also as if no other team has had a goal disallowed incorrectly for offside before
