Back on topic, I hope Spurs win it if we can't.

Never had a real issue with the success, or otherwise, of any clubs other than LFC (for all the usual reasons), AFC (ignorant arrogant fans, cheating or thuggish players) and LUFC (just because).

If United don't win and they won't until a thorough overhaul of direction is made, I have no grievance with the likes of historically well run and friendly clubs like thfc, cfc or mcfc etc., winning it. I can basically just ignore it, and them.

I will NEVER want lfc, lufc or afc to even win a game, never mind a trophy. The only minor dilemma I have is when they play each other

The great thing about being from the North West is the only Arsenal fans I know were during my uni days and I no longer see them or stay in touch.

I honestly don't know how you lot from down south cope being around them. I actually feel for you.

To me though they are just another club like Chelsea. A divisional rival and that's about it.

We obviously gave the brown envelopes to the wrong person.

And City fans are actually a lot more sound than people realise. None of my blue mates rub my face in it anything like I expected they might. Obviously there's the odd cheeky comment but nothing I can't handle.

I think the Liverpool fans have some great banter though, purely because a lot of them will hate us more than we hate them (I use the term “hate” very loosely here), but we’ve had it much better over the last 33 years.
