Does Davis have the necessary badges to take Rangers in Europe? Is that why Rae is also in there?
I am sure when Gerrard left and Gio came in that Rangers said they always have a list of who is where and are ready to pounce.
Sounds utter bull now and was just a one off that they got Gio in quickly?

and you can just pay the fine im sure if you dont have the correct badges and if your booked onto the course already you dont hvae to pay the fines.
Speaking of which Will Still ...... has done an amazing job at Stade Reims.
Or in some cases just have a word with mates at UEFA and get the requirement waived
in any case, he started doing his badges a cpl year back im sure I read at the time.
I don’t think you can be too snobby about McInnes really, given he’s already KBed you and you’d be pathetically lacking in pride in begging him again.
He’d be doing Rangers the favour here rather than the other way around.
This is the big club mentality that’s holding Rangers back from being a decentish SPFL team: unrealistic ambitions based on a past that is very much no longer the case.

How would you know?
Pascal Jansen seems to be getting a few mentions.
I'm all for it, mainly because I have no idea who he is and don't fancy any of the others being mentioned.
I know he'd probably turn it down anyway but I don't see Potter working out. He's more a project manager for well run clubs rather than an instant and consistent results guy for a club demanding success without the structure or players. We need a manager who can maximise the output of the dross we've got in the short term while a new DoF comes in to build the long term structure. We're going to need to accept a period of winning ugly until we're in a position to even consider someone like Potter.

It would be nice if we could have someone capable of both.
I wouldn't be surprised though if the board weren't making enquiries after PSV and Celtic and there's already a lead candidate.
Hope it's not Muscat.
Thing is, SPR, nobody has 100% foresight to know how it is going to go. A lot of dynamics and personalities and how they are supported not to mention the wider health of the club. cf Postecoglue - it was cringe how so many people were 'Ange who' and basically called the guy a diddy before he'd even started - press, fans of both sides, players probably. The unpalatable truth is the board are the only ones making the call, listening, analysing the candidates.
I'd agree an experienced makes sense but then experience often costs more, or is less easily convinced and is wiser as to the pitfalls of any appointment and likely to make their own analysis, calls to trusted friends etc.
As fans you can only let them get on with it and hope for the best.
Where Celtic got it so right with Ange, by accident or by design, is they picked a manager with a wealth of experience and a track record of success, but in a less fashionable part of the world. If Ange had done in Europe what he'd done in Asia he'd have been so far out of Celtic's reach.
No doubt our board will try to ape that approach by bringing in a manager who had minor success with Real Kashmir.
