Decent 10th wicket cameo to finish, gives us a bit of hope.

Sounds obvious but think this will all depend on how many wickets we take in the first 10-12 overs.

2/3 and 280 will seem a long way away.

Yep.

Imagine if Stokes came in and did his usual act of scoring at a snail’s pace for 30 balls or something in that innings.

He always increases the pressure on his batting partners and that’s why we lose wickets. He’s a very selfish player.

I could deal with selfish if it led to wins & titles but with Stokes obviously that doesn’t happen.
