It was inevitable.

Opening a can of worms if they go down that route

I heard they are giving us the 3 points instead cos we are in Europe and cup so can't fit the fixture in.

Absolutely no chance any PL game is getting replayed because of a referring error.

What are they doing, starting with Liverpool down to 10 men

I know you are on the wind up GB, but let’s suspend belief for a moment and imagine they did replay this game - we would never finish a season on time, appeals would be going in left right and centre for every wrong decision in a game.

How is it apparent?

😂 of course it is!!!

There have always been wrongful refereeing decisions admitted post-match. To replay the game would set a dangerous precedent. VAR is not in the rules/laws of football. Whether or not the referee decides to view the video evidence, his decision is still final.
Stop the whingeing!

Squeaky bum time. Be funny if we replayed it and then beat spurs on a dodgy var pen.

But seriously, please no replay, I think we just have to take it as a bad decision. Where will we ever stop.

I heard enough of the var to know there is no conspiracy here, just major stupidity

The sport would never recover.
Fire the culprits and move on

Liverpool got robbed hard but not sure I agree with a replay tbh.

VAR recording just shows they won spurs the game but the game was ref'd terribly throughout. Wasn't a rough game at all and was a crazy amount of cards. It also wasn't Spurs fault so just let them celebrate like they won a cup cos they were gifted a win 😂 it's actually kinda funny.

In all honesty though their boss seems a sound fella and I'm sure if they stopped the game and the ref talked to the managers I've no doubts he would've told spurs players to let Liverpool score. I'm 100% convinced of that. If the ref had explained fully.

Might have a dif opinion if it was an boss I'm not sure would have but VAR robbed Liverpool and Spurs simply benefited. If spurs had screwed Liverpool directly by cheating in some way I'd say replay...like Henry with his ballslap goal that time.

Imagine replaying it and salah or someone got a bad injury. When has a team ever worried other teams fans as much as this after a loss? That performance was insane.

Would that be fair enough though GB? I’m not sure it would. I mean you have to remember we are talking about the first time Liverpool have ever had a decision go against them here, surely the only way of levelling this up is just to award you the Premier league trophy?

Well that is not possible is it, as it seemed like you guys already lifted the trophy last Sunday after the game with that mass 90s karaoke session

We were just serenading the VAR team who really pulled it out of the bag for us

Other clubs will now be compiling a list of games where they've lost out to poor VAR decisions.

Liverpool in for a very long season.

and the fact the title could be affected in such a negative way…
————————

Neither Spurs or Liverpool have winning PL titles in their history or DNA.

There’s no reason to suspect a game between 2 perennial also-fans would have title implications.

Obviously if it was 2 juggernauts like Arsenal & City next weekend, then a reply could be fair.

Nonsense. The game has never seen an error of this magnitude. Offside is cut and dry and not open to opinion.

Lol - literally the same thing happened in the Arsenal - Brentford game last season.

But we don't cry, we just win. Liverpool lose, then cry after.
