Anyone who saw the Tottenham vs Ajax CL semi final second leg could have told you how much of a liability he is.
The problem for United is that the majority of ETH signings look like duds with Hojlund being the exception

We need to be careful with saying someone has been a success after just a few games. Yes, there may be the success stories such as Macheda, Dan James and Janujaz, but not everyone goes on to do as well as them after starting brightly.

I think the general consensus was that he wasn't as good a shot stopper as prime De Gea but that we'd control matches better so he'd need to make fewer saves. However, we've not really been controlling matches at all (injuries and poor errors haven't helped) and he's looked shaky. Once, if, we get everyone back who's comfortable on the ball then I'd expect him to look better and be an asset. The only real handling howler he's made IMO is at Bayern. Goes to show whata great bit of business Vicario looks like so far.
We declined Raya @ £40m and his performances have not been great, either as keeper or distributor.
Onana cost £50m? and he's been a shambles.
Vicario £17m, and the guy look excitable but he has done all the basics right, his distribution is good without being overly risky, both feet. Some good saves in there and he looks pretty good at crosses too. Certainly no real errors so far.
I have major doubts about him, from what little I've seen.
It's not just the mistakes – I think his positioning is suspect, and he doesn't seem to dive properly. Even for some of the goals that weren't his fault he's looked like he was doing his best not to save them.
We were already ridiculously easy to score against. The absolute last thing we needed was a keeper who inspires no confidence whatsoever.

Anyone who saw the Tottenham vs Ajax CL semi final second leg could have told you how much of a liability he is.
The problem for United is that the majority of ETH signings look like duds with Hojlund being the exception
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We need to be careful with saying someone has been a success after just a few games. Yes, there may be the success stories such as Macheda, Dan James and Janujaz, but not everyone goes on to do as well as them after starting brightly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I never said anyone was a success, just that currently Hojlund certainly cannot be classified as looking like a dud.
I have been impressed with how well he has fitted into the United system.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's a system?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was feeling generous
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Players should fit into a system as a minimum, but to claim that Hojland is the best striker in the world is a bit too far.

Ahhh it’s you Barry, hello

I haven't watched ManU much this season, but I was told he's facing twice as many shots as most and he's not really the problem.

You’ve heard wrong, the stat might be true but he has let in clangers and his distribution has caused goals against
