Just saw this below on Twitter which is so true:
"As Fergie pointed out many times, he could never have been successful without Cathy. It was love at first sight the first time he met her at Remington shaving factory. Upon returning home after a win, Fergie was greeted by Cathy telling him "the washing machine was broke". She allowed no trophies on display at her home and retained her working class Glasgow humility until the end, a beautiful soul who Utd fans owe so much too. Deepest condolences to SAF and his family."
A true Old Trafford legend, we should all be grateful for her convincing him not to leave 2002, condolences to her family 🌹
Aw really hope his family get around him as he'll fair miss her, so sad for him
SAF has lost his Rock of Ages.
Condolences to Sir Alex, she was his rock. I remember him saying once he wanted to retire when he did because he wanted to be with Cathy more. At the time she was bereaving the loss of her sister.
I want the team to send him the biggest message tomorrow by registering a performance and victory fit for some of the teams the great managed over the years.
Yes, let's give a performance fitting of SAF tomorrow. Full of fight, effort, and an effort to attack and entertain right from the start.
Indeed, just goes to show SAF hasn’t got either unfortunately. They’ll be a min silence before the utd games and possibly others too this weekend

I'm not sure there should be a minute's silence at other grounds. At OT yes because she played a massive role in the club's history but I don't see it elsewhere. Perhaps Aberdeen though of course.
When SAF dies though then I would expect it at all grounds.

The league holds both in such high esteem I would not be surprised but I agree it's very much a bereavement for the "United" family.
RIP.
Played a big part in the great man staying on after he decided to leave, on a couple of occasions I believe.

That would be well cringeworthy if they all have a minutes silence. Get a grip.
I don’t he’s going to be around for much longer. Prepare yourself.
Nice of Ronaldo to pop in to lower the tone by acting like a muppet
Condolences to the Boss and his family. Very sad indeed.
