A season is the best someone gets these days, everyone is an impatient critic!
Probably not, it’s clear there are a lot of issues with our squad and play and injuries are not helping either. While this will give the players a boost I can’t see it being the moment that changed the course of EtHs reign at the club where he goes on to be incredibly successful.
It is Mark Robins you dafties.
History repeating?
It well could be ETH’s equivalent of SAF’s Mark Robins’ moment (that’s one “b” OP, learn to correctly spell the names of the players of the club you support), but the goal from Robins had a bit more significance than the goals from McTominay today. There’s a whole different footballing landscape for a start. The FA Cup back then meant more than it does today. Today was just one league game of many, and there is no myth surrounding SAF in regards to him saving his job because of a last minute winner in a league game at home, against a less fancied team in the division.
People like these kind of circumstances where comparisons can be drawn from events from the past, but this one falls short. And for more than one reason. For example, did you feel the same when United beat Forest earlier this season? If not, why not? Why can’t that be ETH’s “Robins’s moment”. After all, SAF (if we believe the myth) only had one of those. So why does ETH get two, or rather get a choice of one of the two?
Nah, I don’t buy into that at all. All today is is a great moment for United to savour in and of itself. So enjoy it in and of itself. It doesn’t need to mean any more than that.

That's what the hierarchy at the time said about Fergie after that Robins goal!
We’ll be back to being shiiiit next week. I’m no longer overly convinced ETH knows what he’s doing.

Seems to be a pretty awful judge of player based on his signings, just sayin’. I hope I’m well wide of the mark, but there is some small doubts creeping in.
We are not playing next week you nugget.

He's signings aren't worse than any of the previous managers.

Mourtough has been at the heart of the mess!
Watching Palace v Forest and Palace look flat after last week. No surprise there.
the Mark Robbins moment wasnt even a Mark Robbins moment and McSauce's goals today were also not a Mark Robbins moment because in both these instances the managers job would have been safe, even if we had lost both games
