I would just like to ask Robb, if they have female commentators and pundits for the Aussie Rules football ? and what is the general opinion of the male spectators to that game !
I used to enjoy watching Football Focus, but since what’s her name Alex Scott took over as a presenter, it’s just become bad, really bad. And it shows as viewership has dropped dramatically.

It’s just utter sheite now - there’s no decent insight and no humour or camaraderie, Thomas isn’t fit to lace Stellings boots and the panels are planks of wood with no charisma who all just shout over each other but are there because they meet some diversity tick boxes, I don’t bother with it any more.
And yes I agree with Keegan, every time I see Karen facking Carney sat in the pundits studio at a game I wanna stick my boot through the telly. It’s more like Loose Women than Super Sunday these days, go and do punditry on the women’s game you miserable cow - if I wanted to he some menstrual bird moaning away I’d stop ignoring the wife.
And another thing, what is all this ‘player’ instead of men bull crap. Match headline for the Spurs game yesterday “Ten Player Spurs beat Luton”. Fack off. I agree, listening to female commentators is just ear grinding, and I don’t even bother with the pre and post match punditry. It’s like they just pick out any random female with zero experience just for the sake of ticking boxes. At least previously Gabby Logan and Kelly Cates were decent presenters, and had chemistry with the male pundits, the new ones are just bad.

To me it's the de-masculinisation of society over the last ten years or so that has saturated mens football and spoilt mine and I would say the vast majority of male and female football supporters enjoyment of the game.
The female intonation commentating when a goal is scored is like nails down a chalkboard.. it's painful and totally unsuitable like a bloke trying to advertise sanitary towels but sadly I don't see this trend for emasculating the mens game ending anytime soon so I just keep my distance.

I don't know if Keegan gets many punditry gigs these days, I haven't seen him on any shows for ages. Perhaps his problem is he feels the women are filling in positions that he feels he could still be getting?

I think his argument is that female pros experience a different version of the game and can't fully empathise with their male counterparts.
We'll ignore the top managers who had little to no footballing experience as players.

Top managers or football journalists they sometimes have on who also have no experience at that level.
It doesn't really matter, some people will have a better understanding of the game than others, whether they're ex-players or not. Look at Micah Richards for example, he has the most basic understanding even though he was an ex-player, that the football fan on the street could compete with him. It should come down to the quality of the pundit.

Explain further? I don't think we should be exterminating women. It was not a solution in the past when we tried this sort of thing because we got caught easily. We need an ultimate solution that is more discrete, like gene altering to gradually get rid of women and those who support them.
