Ref not applying the laws of the game due to the controversy he knew it would cause other wise known as bottling it.

Two reds

I've said it many times before that the fact that Michael Oliver is looked at as the best ref in this country shows just how absolutely terrible the refereeing standards are in England.
Every single match I've seen him officiated ALWAYS ends in a major controversial decision from him.
It boggles my mind that the media and the fans out there lazily proclaim this guy as the "best" in England

He should have had 4 yellows by now. Joke.

So we've got City's owner paying today's ref, Michael Oliver, to go referee some exhibition games in the UAE for ridiculous money only a few weeks ago and the PL / FA thinking it's fair he should be reffing City's biggest game of the season so far between last year's top two.

Nothing dodgy about that is there

Oh and they are apparently trying to use political influence to make the 115 charges go away too apparently.

Is there anything this ridiculous state club won't do to win?
