Hes been one of your best players this season despite the bullying
Good to hear he backs himself. Thankfully, it's the managers opinion that counts.
ETH was about to offload McT too, and now McT has saved his job, ETH is like buddy buddy with him, and even alluded to not wanting to sell him
Maybe the same will happen with Maguire...He is a good CB so plenty of clubs will come in for him specially if he's available at a knock down price.
But he just doesn't seem to fit ETH style of play which is give it to Rashford and sit back
Utd don't even have a style of play under ETH

You can tell its October. Lots of the usual couple of wins optimism from the spurs lot. Wonder how much levy has invested this year into plastic bottle sponsorship

Genuine question what was your opinion of Sancho when it became apparent he could be sold, would you have taken him at Spurs at the time after his Dortmund period or is it just hindsight appraisal?

He was purchased to appease the Utd fans and he didn't fit their play, Utd look like a team made of odd puzzle pieces tbh...Lots of expensive players but don't come together as a team. Utd have pts on the board but honestly what match did they appear like the knew what theyr are doing - plan, none of these games. The last games only a last chance saloon sub of McT coming on saved pts....Absolute winging it!

Sancho is out of the brackets for players who the chairman allow in terms of not just the fee, but the whole package - his weekly salary alone is around £250k which would have made him the highest paid player, more than Kane though Kane was offered recently a lot more. So theoritcally he would have never come to us and in that, there is a relief. He is good but unproved in PL. Bundesliga is not a benchmark for me and many others, We have Sonny and Kulu, and though they are no mega money purchases, they do the job and fit the system.
Sancho isn't only one who seems an odd purchase for me. Antony, Varane, Casemiro etc are like what is the purpose here? short term vs long term?
I am not having a dig but I would worry about the amount of money spent and not having an identity on the football pitch. Identity that fans can recognise and support.

Fair play that said I was stoked at the time as I'd watched a fair bit of him at Dortmund and felt his game was transferable to the PL, hasn't panned out and I honestly don't remember many, if any? other club fans saying it was a bad signing but hindsight is a b iatch with football, had my doubts about Casemiro due to age and that Real were happy to let him go but he's had decent spells to be fair to him, Varane I liked but fitness has fcked him
If only it could have been Belingham?
Bit strange of him to say this now when everyone knew he’d be 5th choice CB when everyone’s fit back in the summer and gf the opportunity to leave.
Footballers need to learn when to shut their mouth, I see Lukaku had given another interview moaning.

I don’t agree with any of the abuse Maguire gets but he really doesn’t help himself.
The reason his win percentage is so high is that most of his starts have been in cup games against lesser sides.
At the moment we need him. And I think he is as good as Linderlof atm. So use him.

I agree but what he should be saying is something is like last season I didn’t perform like a know I can, this season I believe I’ve done well when given the chance and I want to stay in the team.
Not this we win more when I play drivel.
Slabhead is worse than thick, he's arrogant and massively deluded. I've never seen such a calamity prone defender that's done stuff you wouldn't even see in a pub team. Laughably g@ 5h.
A total lack of self awareness from him hit the peak when he tried to shush the England fans.
Like I said, he's worse than dumb. Adding arrogance and delusion just makes someone unbearable.
We all know we currently need him, that's because 3 other CB options are currently injured and we couldn't replace him in the summer because he refused to move.
Saying he'll be forced to move now just sounds stupid when he's known for months he's our 5th choice CB and the manager is happy to replace him. Then trying to big himself up, like Bumble says, he's incredibly arrogant and massively deluded.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not £2bn like Utd
What I said was genuine but hey it does not suit your utopia of Utd being a force to be reckoned with because you have paid over the odds to secure some odd mercenaries, Sancho anyone? and trying hard to shape them into a team...Good luck!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Genuine questionwhat was your opinion of Sancho when it became apparent he could be sold, would you have taken him at Spurs at the time after his Dortmund period or is it just hindsight appraisal?
I felt he was a baller obvs now he has his own set of issues
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He was purchased to appease the Utd fans and he didn't fit their play, Utd look like a team made of odd puzzle pieces tbh...Lots of expensive players but don't come together as a team. Utd have pts on the board but honestly what match did they appear like the knew what theyr are doing - plan, none of these games. The last games only a last chance saloon sub of McT coming on saved pts....Absolute winging it!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I disagree that at the time of purchase he was bought to "appease" the Utd fans, at the time he was thought of, and not just by Utd fans, as a good young player with even more potential and Utd needed a wide player, but that said I appreciate it's not panned out, no doubt so far but what I wanted to know was if, honestly, Spurs could have got him then would you have liked it? not wumming just interested
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sancho is out of the brackets for players who the chairman allow in terms of not just the fee, but the whole package - his weekly salary alone is around £250k which would have made him the highest paid player, more than Kane though Kane was offered recently a lot more.

Kt already happened. ETH genuinely seemed to want to keep Maguire

He might outlast ETH

Grown up with his maw telling him he's the best, doing everything for him and passing on her genetic can do no wrong & no self-awareness.
