They’re now suggesting offside-only reason ref would have had to go to the screw would be if they’re saying Hendry was interfering with play-which is a nonsense.

I think they're (belatedly) claiming offside now - but it has the feel for scrambling about for an excuse. No lines were drawn when the ref was looking at the screens. Got a whiff of something bad there!

Just watching that Hickey mistake replay again.

He went to it initially. Then gave a foul. Had it been being checked for offside he wouldn't have gone to the monitor cos offside lines are decided by VAR and refs explicitly don't get asked to look at them.

They do if its to determine if he was interefering with play. Unfortunately he is but I still think they gave a foul at first and are now changing their mind.

Definite cheating, he never signalled for offside.

They changed it when they realised how bad it look giving a foul for nothing.

Said it last night. The only thing for offside would be Hendry interfering with play. Keeper was nowhere near it.

The point is they don't know why they disallowed it. They initially said it was for a foul, and then changed their mind.

For the roofe goal, if you look back, Robertson doesn't initially signal that it was a goal, so he clearly knew that there was something amiss.
