Look it was a good result in the end but how poor are we at defending particularly at set pieces. This isn't a one off it happens game in game out and once again fear for us at Stoke

Why Stoke? They are a low to mid-table team with poor to average home form having lost three out of their last four home games. I suppose you can point to who they lost to Preston, Hull and Southampton and yesterday's win against Sunderland but I don't see anything to be too concerned about.
Seems quite a negative post in light of our recent form.

I notice Lowfields has gone quiet again! Brilliant comeback today. I feared it was going to be another Southampton, but the joy was all the better for coming from 2-0 down.

not only lowfield but the usual protagonists....yes you know who you are
Why Stoke ?
One of our bogey teams, I remember going back in the 80s and losing 6-2 then 7-2 the following year. Also our record defeat 8-1 was by them. Plus the fact that we find any team difficult to defend against.
Also ended our 29 match unbeaten run in 73/74

We have a very good record against Stoke having played them 95 times in the league and cups down the years of which we have won 47, lost 30 and drawn 18. We have won 18 at their ground compared to their 21. I would like to play them every week.
You might want to dwell on happier times like the last time we played them, beating them 5 zip, but I am guessing that it's not in your nature to look on the bright side of things.
You might want to add fuel to argument by pointing out that we lost 4-0 in our first ever meeting with them back in 1920.
