I hope for better than recent performances. I’m happy to admit I don’t know a fat lot about the intricacies of coaching and if we go on to success under the current manager nobody will be happier than me. Come on you Rams.

I did not post this on previous thread as I do agree with a word on and was not going to comment on all that drivel, but I feel, I must. I cannot believe what you lot are saying after one defeat, after a run of seven undefeated. And the knives are out for Warne. Have you all been taking loon lessons from Spart, or, has Scouse been supplying you all with the Columbian marching powder again. We were beaten by incredible own goal and a keeper that will probably never play as well again in his life, a display that got him man of the match, The Shrews manager celebrated as if he had won the World cup, and I lost count of the number of saves, and woodwork that saved them, your just looking for a whipping boy, just because one or 2 players had an off day, and some would say , you had a little bit of entitlement, Most of you are old enough to know better, and all of you are old enough to have more sense. What a load of cr@p. spart, as a matter of interest, have you noticed your mate Liam, who you would like to come back, with the players he has at his disposal, has dropped lower in the championship than we are in L1. And we have better stats.
Go on then, start shooting

No problem from me Tom, I respect your opinion and it’s one I normally lean towards myself. It’s just what I think. I go to the majority of games and it seems to me that most of our opponents are playing better football than us with inferior quality players. It was a nagging feeling I tried to ignore last season and it’s simply got stronger. I do think Warne has got very good defensive organisation, we have looked very solid at set pieces for example, but I often just find myself shaking my head when we have the ball. I really, really hope it comes good because we desperately need a period of stability but in my heart I just can’t see it happening. Ipswich bit the bullet last year and parted with Paul Cook. That turned them round and I could see us achieving similar success with a manager who played a more progressive style. Interestingly Cook is now doing well back at Chesterfield and I have no doubt Warne would enjoy success at a club where he had less technically adept players and where the spotlight on him was less intense. Rotherham, say, who are looking like getting relegated again this season.

In general fans are way too impatient and as you say entitled. I hate being one of the whingers, I can’t remember it happening before, not even under The Loony, and I’ll shout and clap as usual tonight and hope to be eating a belly full of humble pie soon.

Got to say I'm with UT on this...whilst agree also with VC that of course everyone is entitled to their opinion.
That said, there is so much negativity about on these chat rooms...not just here. I've got to say I just keep my head down these days.
My opinion [for what its worth] is that Clowes has invested massively in the current management structure and I don't see him chucking away a huge amount of money to try another management team which would in no way guarantee anything. We've been through 16 managers in 17 years...and it's got us nowhere other than going bust and relegation.
I do think we have a good back line but the midfield and forward line is still not right. I think some of the players in that area are just not suited to L1. We got bullied out of the game on Saturday by a team who viewed us as their Cup Final. As UT said, their manager was doing cartwheels on the touch line at final whistle.
So, in conclusion, clearly we're not there yet and I'm guessing it'll take at least a couple more transfer windows until we settle with a team that can compete.

Well historically this is the worst position we have been in. I though have not been calling for the head of Paul Warne on a silver platter. I still believe we would have been more successful if we had kept Rosenoir. I did point out that Warne’s three promotions were neutralised by his three relegations. I didn’t know his playing method was so one dimensional. I am all for keeping the game simple but Janet and John book football is taking that a bit too far. It looks like some of the players aren’t buying in to the style.

If you would like to continue your trump like ad hominem attacks on me then please try and make them less rancorous and more amusing, I have no objection to robust banter. It’s wot bloke do.

UT, I respect your opinion, but if you'd been at the games, you'd see that (apart from Peterborough and Blackpool second-half), we're playing like a team of strangers.
