Lets be honest, we should have beaten both Cheltenham and Shrewsbury, which would have put us third!
Coulda, shoulda, woulda

And several others
Listening to RD and Ritchie Barker, not sure if slip of the tongue but he said 'pleased with the back four.'
Solid all round tonight - much needed match we controlled from 0 to 90.

I thought the back 4 were good too
A million times better tonight. I don’t know what happened after the Shrewsbury game - the players and management did not emerge for some time for interviews so maybe there was a free and frank discussion. Whatever the reason, there was a big change in the style and we were so much better for it. Some proper football to feet and the players looked as though they were enjoying themselves. Bird was a joy to watch tonight. I also thought Wilson was excellent and NML had his best game for ages. Let’s hope we continue with this away from home and back our ability more. They all looked very happy to be let off the leash a bit. Interesting that Richie Barker not Warne did the post-match interview.
I know it’s only Exeter on a Tuesday night but more like this please.
Vidal took the trouble to post this in the wee small hours of the morning, presumably nursing a mug of cocoa after a harrowing journey.
I think it would be polite if perhaps one of our pundits could respond. Even something about overlapping and rotating asymmetrical wingbacks (which we don't use enough under Warne), would be a start.
Absolutely nothing to add, Heb.
It was splendid
Thanks Ang but that was really intended for the pundits
I'll leave the overlapping and rotating asymmetrical wingbacks to Spart.

Derby played well and the back four looks so much better than a 3/5. Nelson was my pick of the four.
We won, but it would be difficult not to beat such a poor side as Exeter. They were pathetic and never looked like scoring. I like to see a good game and the opposition spoiled it, I felt sorry for their supporters who had to travel back to Devon having watched such dross.
My son couldn't go so I took a friend who is an Arsenal supporter. He asked me if we had a roof over the stand! He moaned because they hadn't got Madri, Doom Bar, or a chicken pie. Two miseries together.
I understand chicken pie but not the other two. You don't miss what you never had!
The Madri is better than the Carling/Carlsberg stuff. I prefer a pint of Pedigree or London Pride, but we can't expect them to serve draught at PP.
Oh beer. I remember beer. Pedigree, Pride, Ruddles County...........happy days!

Madri, didn’t he open the bowling for India in 1978? Just had a bitburger alcohol free lager. I have never drunk diarrhoea diluted with urine but I imagine it would have a similar taste.

Nearest "so called" bar - we don't have real pubs, is 40 miles away. So it's bottled Speckled or Crafty Hen here if you ever call in.............đť
Put me down for a Crafty Hen please Heb
Unless that's what he calls his Mother in Law?

I anticipate a hard game on Saturday against Stevenage,
who are managed by Steve Evans, a man I have never met, but for some unknown reason, cannot stand.
Completely illogical l know, but just his look and voice
Really grate on me.
I just wonder if you might be coming a trifle intolerant Uncle. I am sure he is really quite nice if you give him a chance. Do unto others and so on..........!
Apart from his Glaswegian accent, his brusque manner and his physique, he has things in common with current manager, UT, having achieved a couple of promotions with Rotherham
