It defo would but Spurs aint finishing above City or Liverpool this season.. But we are moving in the right directiion
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Totally get what you're saying about Liverpool, after making that one mistake against them the officials will be doing everything they can to make it up to them for the rest of the season.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Couldn't wondering at the weekend with no red card for Konate.... V suspicious !!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm going to remain completely impartial on this for the sake of the thread, even if you are right.

Spurs strength in depth is pretty awful, especially given how much money they've spent in the last few years.

If they can keep Vicario, Romero and Son fit they have a chance of top four.

Didn't Arteta win a trophy in his first season? That in itself trumps Spurs this century, let alone Postecoglou

I look forward to 606 over the next few months

Some right salty comments on here.

Suddenly Brighton are supposedly better than Spurs. Feck off. One finish above Spurs in a century.

Villa again one finish above Spurs this century. Yeh right they are better than Spurs as well.

That Mcfooty posts total bollox.

Veering away from solely this season, who does everyone think will win the Premier League first out of Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea.......in a couple of years
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea are 12 months & a decent CF away from being a bl00dy good team
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Disagree mate. I really don't rate Chelsea at all.

I hear ya mate.... I don't they'll be in the mix this season but they have some good young players, that will suit Poch and Bohley has made it clear he's not afraid to spend. They just need things to settle down, buy into what Poch wants and get themselves a decent CF... I suspect in 12 months they'll be a very good team

Spurs are doing very well, but with no European football I was expecting us to challenge for the top 4. With what Arsenal did last season, we'd have to go one better to be able to say we've overtaken them.

One season above Spurs in six. How does that make Arsenal better?

Don’t worry about if he thinks the likes of Brighton and Villa are better than us ……good news

He doesn’t get much right

The fact we are in a new season with a completely new set up ,manager and half a new team doesn’t seem to matter

Come January they'll fall apart, if they haven't done so before then. Postecoglu is very good though, but you need a squad and Spurs squad is chit

Some people on this site must have very extensive lists of bookmarks.

Such a powerful threat when you say you're going to bookmark something. Genuinely intimidating.

Bin dippers are not used to being lead by Spurs and are having a meltdown

The biggest entitled bunch... I am sure enjoying this and may it long continue

I honestly cannot stand Spurs, or their supporters. The most arrogant, deluded fan base I can remember.

Last year in pre-season, you lot thought you were signing Neymar and winning the title.

This year you've appointed some chubby Auzzie fraud who looked good in a tin-pot league and yet again you're all talking about being English title winners.

Pathetic fan base. Tin pot manager of a tin pot football club.

I may have left the football forum, but believe me I will laugh very hard when you implode like you always do.

7th at best, no trophies and more disappointment. That will be your season.

Yeah think the weekend was a watershed of a moment for Pochettino. Same thing happened at Spurs when all of a sudden his ideas were finally starting to show on the pitch. He will continue to get rid of anyone stinking out the place and if your fan base is patient, you’ll get there under his management.

We've been playing well all season mate. Just not putting chances away and the team is blending. Cole Palmer seems to have that ruthlessness to score or put it on a plate.

When nkunku, James, lavia, Chillwell, Badiashile are back in the fold we can only improve.

We should probably be 6/7 points better off than where we are but no complaining, thats football. But law of averages suggest we won't keep topping the big chances missed leagues for too much longer (atleast when nkunku and broja comes back)

Yeah I agree. But the first 50 minutes was the most fluid I have seen you this season. Think your midfield 3 now picks itself.

posted on 24/10/23

yep, our midfield 3 has the potential to be the best in the league (tough ask when rodi, kdb and whoever is fit at city) but outplayed arsenal and pool so far.

We really just need someone ruthless, someone who's not even that good but just sticks it in the net, like a costa or what salah is doing this season. He's actually not playing that well and still bagged a load of goals and got 3/4 assists.
