Did he explain why he left his two most in-form players on the bench for the first 70 minutes?

Apparently Summerville can't play 3 games in a week due to the injury which he is still on painkillers for.

Raging after last night, yes we didnt play well but still should have won and we would have won ugly which you need to do sometimes, how Bamford was allowed to take the penalty beats me he shouldnt be anywhere near the side hes a pale shadow of his former self and hasnt looked a footballer for months people still think hes the player that played under Marcelo, not sure why he persisited playing Archie at RB we miss his energy and Ampadu plays better with him, Gruev is slower than me.

Spoke with Adam about Archie. Academy used to deliberately play them out of position to develop all round skills.

I can understand that, but we should be playing players to their strengths.

We'll be lucky to get 70 points never mind 90-95 and the laughable "100" oh and don't forget the 100 goals.

Just by way of some balance from me, I’ve just listened to DF’s LUTV post-match interview and he is strongly critical of our profligacy in front of goal. I agree with him. Anyway, and as others have said, with Piroe and Bamford in the £ seats, I’m not sure how we solve this problem (before the Jan transfer window anyway).

Better than reading the beano when Lowfields comes on, since we have got a side together we are averaging 2pts a game still got players to come back, 90pts is a minimum.

Judging by last night

- Still unsure about Gray at RB, much better in midfield. We have Shackleton who has played better there but is now being ignored it seems?

- Ampadu and Gruev are too similar and Gruev seems a poorer version. Only 1 game i suppose but I wouldnt want to see them together in a hurry.

- Anthony - Seems to offer nothing attacking wise. Hed even be behind Podeva for me.

- Gnonto - I prefer him on the left, never seems to play as well on the right. Did offer more than Anthony but thats not saying much

-Never want to see Bamford take a pen ever again
- Piroe. A bit of a passenger at the moment. I odnt care what Farke says its not working. He doesn't even appear in the box. There was an instance where Gnonto crossed and no one was there.

Yep, was awful to see, Piroe is more of a penalty box player in my book, shame he's not played there.

Why alternative do we have? We didn't sign a playmaker in the summer and are left with shoe horning a CF there.

I see it as a way to not openly criticize players, and that is a good thing.

We all know that DF knows what he is doing, and knows his football, so it's no worry at all that he said what he said.

I think what he told the players are quite different to what he said publicly

He even said Bamford only missed one penalty in his tenure as if the other two didn’t matter.What cr@p.He needs to up his game pronto.

Agree with most of this, Piroe would have had a better chance of getting to Gnonto’s cross had he not been in the dugout 😂
Gruev can’t be 6’-1” can he? He makes Aaronson look built!
Had Bamford scored, or not taken the penalty I’d have said he made a decent impact…huge letdown! He’s taking some heat on social media.
