It would be far simpler that he did what he was told? He earns an absurd amount and is a "pro" I'd also imagine there are perhaps other things the manager and club aren't happy about with his behaviour and demenour?

I accept that others might feel diffirently, fair play

Nail him up!

Nail some sense into him

The guy is garbage anyway, why do United fans even want him back? Best thing you could do is sell him to Spurs in January and let him stink up WHL instead

The issue I think is the social media post that followed afterwards more than the above. That was, in effect, calling the manager a liar which is never a good idea. Craig Bellamy's Overlap with Gary Neville has a similar scenario and Bellamy said himself he was just stupid saying it in public.

Does the OP think our performances would have been better had Sancho been playing?

Then again, it might mean Rashford wasn't

He's being rightfully punished so hopefully this continues until he is sold

It's a distraction we don't need. Plus, he may use this as motivation and find form.

Yeah I’m done with him. It’s hard when a player that is producing acts like a complete dumbfk but he’s not even producing, so he can do one.

He won't.

In defence of Sancho (which tbh maybe unwarranted) any of our "top players would have reacted the same way. (Bruno told to play as the opposition is hilarious).

This lesson would be effective if we did it to rashford and Bruno when they clearly underperformed and it would be a motivational tool for even sancho.

For now it just seems to be targeted to a player he never liked in the first place (especially when the option is Antony. He will lead to his run Ten Hag and Antony love fest)

He’s never played well for us
Didn’t break a sweat in the FA cup final in a game that could’ve stopped City getting the treble
Has been consistently late for training because he wants to play fifa instead
Did a social media post badmouthing the manager
Was sent abroad and given weeks off by the same manager he badmouthed as a gesture to help him, when we needed him and still paid him £350k a week

But yeah let’s give in and bring him back

He’s a lazy, petulant spoilt brat who needs to feck off

He isn't the first player to be disappointed at not starting a game. Scholes once refused to play.

Roy Keane mentioned this when this manager was having a mare with Ronaldo too. Scholes was fined and we moved on.

People will come and say well it was Paul Scholes, which is not the point. These things happen, heck they happen in Sunday league football, you have big egos at every level.

ETH went and told the media what happened, the player said nope it did not happen. The manager has made this bigger than it should be, diabolical management.

Anyone that thinks this is good for Manchester United is in cuckoo land. We were never going to get good money for this player due to his performances, however age on his side and therefore a bargaining tool for us. With this shiiiit show from ETH, we will be lucky to get 30m for him from anyone

Sell him is my thought. He's barely had a good game for us since his arrival.

"Work as hard as the opposition would? Me? Never! Why do you think I came to Manchester United?!"

From an outside perspective, Sancho is a bitofaprick but he's also been badly managed. EtH seems to be trying to do a Fergie bit that United fans lust over but is just not suitable for today's game. Seems like he could've been fined and everyone moved on. That said, he's been dropped by Southgate so maybe he really is a biggerprick than I'm giving credit

Anybody who thinks the manager hasn't the right to manage is living in cloud cuckoo land. We are talking of a player who was given weeks of to train and get his head right. Apart from odd flashes he's done nothing for us and should be pushed out of the door.

I just read the story
Incredible, we chased Sancho signing and paid so much, when his preference to play from the left was known by the club

posted on 26/10/23

It's not really been great all round but that social media post is the thing here. Had Sancho not posted that I don't think we'd be here.

Perhaps ETH would even have told a white lie and stated they'd made up but couldn't do that for fear of Sancho posting again and contradicting him.

Maguire has had a bigger fall than Sancho but, to his credit, he's knuckled down and is, IMO, a starting CB for us now until Martinez returns at least.

These players need to sometimes realise that it won't get any better for them than at United. No bigger club will come calling and it's be surprising if they get offered more wages in a competitive league.

I am not defending him, my history on this player tells you I thought it was bad signing.

I am stating the way this manager has handled this has been nothing short of diabolical. We have no money and had to resort to doing loan deals this past window. We are about to make a massive loss due to the shiiiit show way we have handled this. No one wants to tackle this point though. Every club now knows we want rid, the player probably wants to go, who is going to offer us anything decent?

Deal with it in-house. Ban the player and fine him. Press asked, simply he did not make the squad.

We need the player right now make no mistake, our attacking is woeful!!!

When our wide options are Rashford and Antony, we cannot afford to be without a player as capable as Sancho.

OK, he might be off in Jan, but in the meantime, get him back training and challenge him to prove you wrong.

Sancho has been poor since joining us. Often happens when a player is out of the team that he gets hyped up.
