Must win game. Throwin too many points away for a serious shout at 2nd. Should be a home walkover, but then again, Stoke hadn't kept a clean sheet since February and then we rock up.

Would bring Ayling, Kamara, James and Summerville back in.

Time to put the midweek misery behind us, with two winnable games coming up.
Yes, Leicester is more winnable than Stoke ever was, in my view, if we can match them mentally, because player for player, we are as good, if not better. I have watched their extended highlights and they are beatable, if we are prepared for the high level of consistent performance they deliver.
This makes it imperative that we get a win tomorrow. After both of our previous defeats, we came back with a win and I think that trend will continue, providing Farke plays our best team. We will have a full week between this game and Leicester, so it would make sense for him to do that. As to why he chose a tricky Stoke game to make the changes he did, only he knows, but that is history.
Huddersfield, apart from last week, were holding their own, but Cardiff ripped them a new one and there are some lessons we can learn from that.

So, here is my wish list for a return to winning ways:
1) A fast, aggressive start, as per the game at Ipswich. Cardiff killed the terriers with three goals in the first half last week.
2) Piroe to play ahead of Rutter in the centre-forward position. That's what we paid good money for, isn't it?
3) They look particularly weak on their left, which sounds like an open invitation for DJ to give them a work out.
4) They are as bad from set-pieces as we are. Rodon and Struijk can cause problems for them once they learn to head the ball on target.
5) Get back to clean sheets. We've had so many skiddies recently, I've forgotten what they look like.
Huddersfield will park the bus and look for a breakaway goal. It's important for us to show our morale is strong despite the Stoke loss. On paper, we have too much quality for them to handle, but Town can be dogged in defence.
I know this flies in the face of 53 years as a Leeds supporter, but I am going for a quiet, uneventful 2-0 win, with Piroe and Anthony to settle the nerves.

Let me reassure you, Wetherby, we don’t do trouncing. We just haven’t got the ruthless streak (or the strikers!) that it takes to do that. Also, this is a derby - these matches are almost always close. After witnessing the fragility of a side that goes to pieces after it misses a penalty, I’ve suddenly turned from eagerly anticipating our next match to silently dreading it. Oh for a team we could rely on!

Gosh is it only 3 days since that debacle against Stoke? Seems a lot longer😁.

Anyway, morning Earl, all 🌞 and hope we’re all chipper this morning👍. So, the team owe us one here, a bloomin’ big one … 6-0 would be about right … but as it’s Leeds, I’m going for a nervy 2-1 with Piroe at last getting the brace he should’ve got last match (and the one before that … and … well you get the drift!).

I just want us to play like we did last week away at Norwich creating lots of chances be more clinical and obviously be tighter at the back. Do all that and 3 nil Leeds should be the result but in all honesty any Leeds win will do me just to eliminate that bitter Stoke defeat.

Yes I think we all wanted to see Archie removed from rb duties. Shacks is the common sense replacement until Spence is ready to return. The derby ingredient makes this a lot harder than it should be but I'm certain if we play to our true abilities we will have too much for Huddersfield so I'll go for the familiar 2-1 Leeds win.

Best 20 available. A question would be how will Firpo perform in the Championship.
