Come Jan invest on 1/2 players and who knows
Right now, we are top of the league and still unbeaten
Easy as pie apart from whole first half and last 5 mins.
To be fair we totally controlled it after going 1-0 up, and 24% possession for Palace tells you everything about their strategy - 9 behind the ball, try to kick us out of the game and hope for a set piece goal. Awful.
How good are Romero and VDV though, harder than any Palace roughhouse merchant and 100 times better on the ball.

Yes, we were never in danger even when they pulled back a goal.
VDV and Romero must the best CB partnership in the PL right now.
We know how bad Davies is as he was the weakest link in the first half.

and half a player is still better than Davies!
Spurs have the league sewn up every October. What's the issue here?
After the handball goal that was allowed Klopp will try asking for the game to replayed, since it's another result that doesn't benefit Liverpool.

Shouldn’t you be watching Married at First Sight with your besties and a bottle of Prosecco?
How many fouls did Ayew commit during the game, I counted at least 8 and yet he only got booked in the last few minutes for dissent
Why would a West Ham fan do this to himself? Weirdo
VAR were obviously keen to make it a grand stand finish. No idea how Ayew’s goal was given, but irrelevant now.

We never lead the league 5 points clear, with an attacking team that looks solid at the back and front foot tactics.
So maybe this is a one off scenario.

and also that Hughes - almost every 5 mins, he fouled!
The three points were welcome, but I thought Spurs were poor, other than the 15 minutes after going 2-0 up. Still to much messing around at the back for more liking. Higher up the pitch is where Spurs are at their best.

I thought the first half, Davies was the reason we lacked the cutting edge. He was the spare player in the top half, but never made any runs or made himself available for a pass.
As soon as Emerson came on, we moved up more and were able to penetrate more.
I have to give PEH credit for some smart play with holding the ball and spreading the game

Had a feeling at the time, that they would give it....It didn't matter but it will serve as a lesson for Porro. Never commit yourself as a defender, risking selling yourself short.

We are clearly there. Our passing out of the back under pressure and through the thirds has been excellent this season - but it’s high risk - there will inevitably a percentage of times it goes wrong, but don’t except Ange to changing his strategy.
Anyway, Sandy is whinging about us just hanging onto the ball at the back when Palace wouldn’t press. That’s Palaces problem, not ours, and Sandy doesn’t understand the tactics of modern football.
