Davies being hooked suggests he was struggling to play Ange`s full back role by stepping into midfield, so our squad still has lots of areas of weakness, hopefully Ange can work miracles with Sessegnon which will solve that problem.

Still lots of areas to improve on, another CB capable of playing a high line, and a clinical finisher are a must.

Yeh VDV was superb, and Bentancur back is huge, though I doubt we will see the best of hi until Dec / Jan

Hard fought game and we got a bit lucky. That's how you sometimes win when you're supposed to go for titles though, win by any means necessary.

Johnson came on and did well and it was the right move to bring him on over Richarlison. He deserves a start now.

As for the decision, VAR got away with one. Had that cost us and I'm glad it didn't, the handball would have far more attention on it. It still should though as it's another blunder from them. I want to hear the audio and Howard try to explain it.

There does seem to be some salty fans who are not liking Spurs right now.

Hopefully Deki performs to his best against Chelsea, needs to shoot more often as his left foot can be deadly.

Think we will, the rivalry is there, and the return of Poch should make it extra spicy!

Chelsea will come to play and that will make for a much better game. I thought we did well last night, palace under the lights is never an easy place to go. Their game plan was clearly to stop us playing and we were rewarded for our patience.

At least it will be a more open game so I'd expect us to create more chances. They seem to be coming into some form though. If they beat Brentford as well, we'll know they have turned a corner.

Their goal was a clear hand ball. How VAR allowed it is beyond belief. The match commentators were screaming about it. Hit his shoulder and rolled down his arm. Controlled wit the arm.

I thought the whole team played well, except perhaps Richarlison who seems to be having difficulties. Kulushevski was subdued most of the time, being double-teamed. But Son is back to running his best and Sarr is a winner.
Johnson should have scored a header but for some reason tried to back head instead of heading into the net! But he was crucial in Son's goal.
Romero and VDV solid as usual.
Great to have Bentancur back.
And finally, a thanks to Vicario who is turning out to be a far better GK than I thought.
