I'd perhaps stick with Toff for this one; but I like the rest of your starters. I'd have the diamond in midfield though Sangare at the base and MGW trying to support Chris Wood who had a very good game last week. Worried Luton's defence all afternoon, got on the end of a lot of chances - right place at the right time and he eventually found some sharpness. I'd not criticise a striker who scores two goals in a game.

Liverpool's defence is their weekness. We should target the FB areas. Tsimikas, can be taken for pace. and there will be space if we can turn it over quickly and isolate Arnold in Midfield.

At the moment I'm going for a 2-2; but may revise that when I see the line ups.

Ignore him, he’s a well known wum. Our defence is definitely our weakest point and you’ve definitely caused us problems since you came up. Saying that, we’re in a completely different place to where we were last season, so hopefully it’ll be a little more comfortable for us today.

Agree you’re in a different place. That’s mainly because you’ve upgraded your midfield. I think your strongest back four is same as last season.
We have also upgraded our midfield, so should be an interesting game though.
We will probably be without our long thrower though.

Last season has no bearing on this season at all. You could have beat us 5 nil doesn't mean u will do the same this year.

U will see a different liverpool to last season, the likes of jota, diaz are fit and VVD is getting back to his best, plus the obvs mf revamp has far exceeded expectations.

Last season we really struggled with those long throws. Need to play Matip over Konate who is better in the air.

Maybe no Diaz today given the situation with his parents being kidnapped. Albeit his mother has now been rescued but his father is still missing.

Dont think so, Quansah is highly regarded and has broken though plus Gomez, Matip are much better than last season. We have

TAA
Kostas
Matip
Gomez
Konate
Quansah
VVD
Chambers

So are good this season, next season maybe a VVD replacement will be needed...but we are good for now

Toff a bit unlucky to miss out

Not a very adventurous team Cooper has put out, Wood scores twice last week, and misses quite a few more, but doesn’t make the squad this week, take it, he is either injured or ill.
Awoniyi on the bench, but no real focal point or attacking options up front, with MGW looking like being the furtherest forward, tbh i can’t really see us scoring, which is a shame, as Liverpool’s defence is nowhere near as solid as it used to be, tends to concede, which was something that never happened in Klopps heyday.
I had optimism of gaining a point, but now realistically think Liverpool by 2 or 3-0.
Today will be more about performance than result, as per our recent tough away games, and as long as we continue where we have left off with those games, then it can be regarded as a success.
Also very important not too do to much damage to the goals against column, which currently is quite decent.

A lot of very good technical players in our team. Just need to replicate the approach and resolve await to Arsenal and Chelsea. Stay in the game, and bring Taiwo on for the last twenty minutes.
