I think this is well observed. From a Spurs viewpoint, yeah it's nice being top but the important thing for now is that gap to sixth place and not ending up in the Europa or worse

it's far too soon as there can be runs of form that brings newcastle in particular back into this.

spurs for example have had it relatively easy bar 2 games and have a string of slightly harder games coming.

personally I think anyone looking back down the table and revealing they think 5th is OK are really saying they are not looking at a title race

look up the table and do as well as possible, never look back for 4th and now 5th as that's the best you'd end up with.

I think we can all tell grumpy old klopp is gone if fun klopp is fist pumping a routine 3-0 v forest. he knows.

we should know too. 5th can do one

Spurs will win the league. Probably go unbeaten all season. The battle for 2nd to 5th should be interesting.

Spurs haven't had it easy at all. They have played Arsenal, Liverpool and United, three London Derbies, only four at home and six away. So anything but easy.

OK for a scouser to say easy, when they only play two Derby games every season. Spurs will have 12 this season.

Never gives up does he? Gives everybody a laugh but congratulations, Spurs, the first team to win the league in October. Please let me know when the open top bus tour will be. Spurs not being a CL team (or in fact not having any European football) should help them, they may even finish top 4.

United are still considered a big team, whatever their current form. They are the top club in the country, trophywise, and pretty well every other criteria. Spurs also have a dreadful record against them. So it was a good result.

They are a CL team this season, Liverpool are not. So consider the win over United the better result.

Not still crying cos you lost. You were shocking, and deserved the loss. The whole world partied. Bunch of thugs that's why you had two sent off.

utd lol.

they are headed for a battle with Chelsea to see who is worst.

as I said you've some marginally harder games in a row coming.

your fight against arsenal was more impressive than crawling past palace or most of the other lower half teams.

in reality every team in the top 4 battle.must beat those bottom half teams home and away to have any chance of competing.

So that gives Sprus a massive advantage. One game a week makes Spurs pretty well unbeatable. Which of course they are.
