All about the months and events leading up to Fergie announcing his retirement. It's genuinely crazy to think it has already been 10 years since we said goodbye to Sir Alex. I'm sure most of us felt like he was everlasting; I certainly thought he would've carried on to maybe about 2016, but all good things must come to an end.
The last 10 years have been incredibly turbulent for us and no doubt we've had some dark times during that period. When Sir Alex went, it was obvious we had absolutely no plan whatsoever and David Gill leaving was just another blow we couldn't deal with for years. At long last, however, it genuinely does now feel like we have a manager in the same mould as Fergie.
It has taken us a decade but now we are finally on the right track.
It's unfair that so many people are trying to downplay what Ten Hag has done already. You can see that the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and dare I say it City are already fearing us again despite some freak results. Compare Ten Hag's first season to that of Klopp and Pep if you like. You can see just how much further ahead he is already than they were after one campaign.

You can see that the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and dare I say it City are already fearing us again despite some freak results. Compare Ten Hag's first season to that of Klopp and Pep if you like. You can see just how much further ahead he is already than they were after one campaign.

I’m absolutely loving the City and Liverpool meltdown in the aftermath of our trophy win. It goes to show just how much we’re back; rivals are questioning the prestige of this trophy, when they themselves have won it in recent times and didn’t bat an eyelid.
Erik has us ahead of the pack in terms of development and the stats prove it beyond any doubt. Considering we are told on a daily basis that Jurgen and Pep are God’s of management, let’s look at Guardiola and Klopp in their first season’s compared to Erik.

Erik is different in the sense that opposition managers are intimidated by him. Don’t forget even Pep wanted Ten Hag to replace him at City which tells you everything. Tactically, Erik is genuinely world class; he always seems a step ahead during matches in terms of his game management and tactical analysis of each opponent. It’s like he already has the other team worked out in every single way.

What’s funny is I’ve been proven right about so much this season:
Said Haaland would make City worse β
Said Rashford was better than Mbappe β
Said Liverpool were finished β
Said ETH would win trophies for us β
